OOC- since the change in format, my iPod has been having difficulty with the posts, this will be my second attempt at this one post.

It is of course a non-issue Lord Lefford. Your liege lord comes first any day. I have come to expand the Friendships of my house. Though my father was well renown, other than Lord Lannister he did not make many friends in the West, I hope to change that. I think an agreement of trade could help in this matter and it is why I am here.

Rhalion said after getting up an bowing to the Lord. He spoke with a smile the whole time. The only flicker of his smile was at the mention of his father. He still lamented his passing.

"Trade is always welcome in Golden Tooth! Sitting along a major trade gives one a keen appreciation for it. I'll summon a scribe to note down your proposal." said Harmund.

A scribe was brought in by Ulfric and noted down the various agreements and understandings that comprised the trade agreement. Seals were affixed to the document before it was copied and sealed again such that both parties had an identical document.

"As you may hear outside, the Westerlands has been mobilised as a reserve against this invasion. Have you any news of it? Did the armies of the Riverlands appear to be mobilising when you passed through those lands?" inquired Harmund, eager for any information about the possible movements of his own force when the orders came.

Only bits of information my lord. Me and my men stayed in smaller towns, traveled through bogs and wilderness. I had hoped to make the trip a bit exciting you see. I had little luck however. I heard of the invasion on my way here. I know my brother is in Kings Landing currently, meaning he will undoubtedly be fighting...

Rhalions smile began to fade slowly. It was something he really didn't think through until now. Suddenly, he was worried.

[ooc: I asked if I could do this in the ooc thread and no one said anything, but in a PM someone said it was valid, so....]

Ulfric burst into the room, followed by a terrified looking aide, who with shaking hands held out a note from the raven's roost for Harmund to see. The look of grave concern in Ulfric's eyes let Harmund with a feeling of dread.

Quickly reading the note, he sat back in his chair for a moment. He looked at Rhalion, who looked questioningly at Harmund."

"Lord Rhalion, the Starks have attacked King's Landing. They entered the city as friends of the King, having been summoned to fight the Essosi invasion, and once within the walls began to ransack the City. The damage is immense and the City is currently in chaos: at the time my associate sent this raven the battle still raged in the streets." said Harmund with a heavy heart.

He took up some parchment and wrote a letter, instructing that it be sent to Casterly Rock without delay. He rose from his seat.

"Prepare my forces for marching, Ulfric. I pray the Lannisters follow." he said as he left the room.

Shortly afterwards, the muster field outside the castle was alive with movement. Tents, supplies and implements of war were being loaded onto wagons. Knights mounted their steeds and infantry fell into marching order. The arms of House Lefford prepared to leave their camp at Goldentooth and begin the march east.
