Looking for some inspiration for a LARP costume

Hi gals and guys
I'm going on a LARP in a few monthes, based on the Game of Thrones setting.
I'll be part of a group of Dornians of house martel. I'm looking for some inspirations, arts or pictures for some nice noble/warrior that could fit.
I believe Dorne would look like muslim spain, and while it's easy to find some women costumes, it's hard to find nice artwork or picture for a men
Any idea would be appreciated
Also, if some of you guys know how to curve a carbon fiber stick to build a foam and latex scmitar, i'd be delighted

Aww I was going to say go as The Hound, since he had the most kick helmet in the series, but if you're going to be a dornishman then I guess that idea is moot.
