Just wanted to know what people's are on going out of your way to talk to certain people. Like if you know someone is going to be somewhere or you know they work you go there even though it's not totally necessary or what you originally planned.
And I'm not talking about the stalkerish, you go around finding out where people are going for the day then go there and follow them around staring at their arse.
I simply mean if you hear from conversation or social media that someone you know and are interested in, either romantically or just friendly, is doing something, you go do that thing as well in the hope of meeting up with them.
For example, if they are going out somewhere local on a certain night that you decide to go out that night as well. Or if they are working somewhere like a shop and you're passing by you go in and get something that you might not urgently need of (again, I'm not talking about going in and buying shoes when you've three pairs at home) in the hope of interacting with them. Or if you are in the same place as them on an outing and wait around longer or leave at the same time as them to have a conversation alone.
Went slightly overboard with the examples but I hope you get my idea. So what's the opinion on this? Is it pathetic? A good way to get to know people? Or just downright childish?
