The scourge of all is upon us. Rocktober is now officially at hand. Cargo stayed and did not become a free agent nearly a decade ago with faith that the team would be in the post season. Only days left on the contract, but...

Three teams from one division in the playoffs. It cannot last long, but...

In any case, I am rooting for the Rockies!!!!

edit: It was good while it lasted -- one game. Sigh. Now LA and Arizona will battle for the hone of the division. I wish them well, but my heart will be with the winner to win it all.

I get the feeling that many who read and post on this site are not great followers of Major League Baseball. However tonight is game 6 of the World Series. The first five games have been outstanding and this may be your last chance to get in on the fun. It is now a must win for the Dodgers (which started out as the favorite even before the first game of the season was played).

On that note -- I am out of here. Time to tune in. See you all later.

The 2018 MLB season is almost upon us. After what has to be one of the most boring off-seasons in recent memory, I sure hope this season doesn't go the same route.
