Sounds like a plan, agreed lets not add it officially to the rules yet, but we could certainly give it a good.

As it stands the "roll" is performed after the inital RP's so the mods can decide based on RP/Situation what if any bonuses/negatives they want to assign.

When we eventually get around to battles, how about only the mod who rolled it knows the outcome until the very end? Example:

Lord Harry is besieging King Bob and they ask for a mod to do the rolls. Instead of posting the victor straight away, the mod posts in the battle thread something like: "Lord Harry takes the walls." This can then be RP'd. Once that is complete then the mod returns with "Lord Harry takes the southern quarter" then "King Bob forces Lord Harry back to the walls." And so on until the mod's final post of "Lord Harry storms the Keep and takes the castle." Or whatever. Therefore battles can be extensively RP'd with the power shifting multiple times between combatants. Any good?

    I like that idea actually

I hope we still have army numbers, sieges assaults or defense, and flanking type bonuses apply. You know like if the battle is joined, but part of say the kings army doesnt initially attack and then they defect on the battlefield and attacks the kings army in the rear, like the wilsons did, dont they get a huge bonus, or are we just gonna do it on dice rolls and have mods wing it because we wan to be "Ugh gah simple"

You're making the incorrect assumption that people actually like playing out the battles. When they had the option to do it they didn't, so this would just be forcing people to do things they (apparently) don't want to do.

Perhaps... So have it be optional then. Though an unwillingness to RP in an RPG takes away two thirds of the experience. As such we shouldn't cater to those most vile of people, that's if they even are people...

Agreed. If you don't want to RP the battles go to IH.

True. For what it's worth, I think it would be cool to do that in a battle I was in. Keeps it all to play for, so you always need to be trying.

Are people who join allowed to fill the missing Counties, Earldoms and Duchies?

Not immediately, bien sűr, though with good quality RP and a little bit of work you could certainly aspire to do just that.

I think he means: I want to fill up a vacant county immediately.

I already explained that he starts off as a freedman and aspires (with a good bit of roleplay, as Gainsey said) to gain a position like that.

"Your highness" is usually used for addressing a prince.

Also Kings and Queens. Although your Majesty is normally for Kings and Queens. But Princes get those once in a while I believe. In fact any Royal family member gets some form of address No ?

So were are the laws going to posted and will their be a House of lords and Commons ?
