Which faith do you embrace?

I start this thread because I just wanted to know which faith you guys embrace. I don't want to start discussions over the "true" religion, please respect that and respect other peoples faith too.

Also I did never think of this thread as serious religious discussion, just to get some idea what religion or nonreligion you guys have. I did not even know that this could turn in such a serious thread, but well, I guess people just get easily offended when the topic is religion.



Edit: I am aware that Atheism and Agnosticism are neither classified as faith or religion. Also, if your religion is not in the poll please choose "Other". Also, if you consider yourself a member of more than 1 religion, please also choose Other. I just added some religions to the poll, but there are so many I really don't want to add all of them..

We need to have a general consensus of the definition of this god (ignosticism). As long as we don't, each of us can define this god as we like.

That's called gnostic-atheism.
To include your faith/denial idea you'd have to put gnostic-theism, agnostic-theism, agnostic-atheism, gnostic-theism and then you put in all the religions and denominations and secular belief systems. All in all you'd have a few hundred options. It'd be great if you made it though.

Well I can't edit the poll anymore, and didn't feel like adding 100 options, there would always be one that I forgot. That's why I added "Other:"

And yeah, I believe gnostic atheism is kind of odd because there is no proof that god doesn't exist either.

No, I'm not agnostic, but I don't know for sure that there is no god. I simply deny it as long as there's no proof.

there have always been as many religions/beliefs as there have been believers, since nobody 100% agrees with anybody else in all matters.

Judaïsm had them, Christianity had them, and the new one in the line: Atheïsm, Agnosticism has the same problems as well
just because if you follow it, you believe it to be true, therefore is unique and cannot be mixed with others

I don't like that, so that's why I just go to mass on sundays

Pagan, specifically Wiccan. I practise with a small group and we have a middle-road blend of highly conventional, traditional practices and eclectic adaptation. I am polytheistic, animistic, and panentheist. I believe that the many gods worshipped and known by the ancients are real, existent beings; that they exist alongside many spirits as a part of nature; and that they all emanate from a unified divine source.
I worship the god Cernunnos, and the goddess Hekate. Though I am developing an interest in Dionysus and Ariadne, and their connection to ancient Minoan religion. Dunno if it will develop into a dedication, equal to my longstanding worship of the Horned God and the Triple Goddess.
I also venerate certain Celtic and Greek deities in conjunction with my god-goddess pair. It's very situational, though.

But we know it for sure! god doesn't exist!

I cannot touch god, I cannot speak with god, I don't know where god is, I cannot calculate his position, his dimension, I don't know an equation, even a differential system of equations to represent god, I don't see sign of this creature, I don't see sign in the past and in the present of the existence of this invented creature, I can only know, what my mind and my sense can know, and god doesn't belong to this category being an invention.

Do you believe in Donald Duck? It's the same question.......

Are the theists who have the burden of proof, to show us that god/Donald Duck does exist, not me!

Keep the poll's name and other choices the same. Just fold atheist and agnostic into a "None" option.
