    Default [PREVIEW] Empire

    Warrior Priests:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
<<We must be ever-vigilant, for if we become unwary and weak the enemies of mankind will devour us utterly. Place your faith in Sigmar to protect you, place your trust in your Emperor to lead you, and put your strength in your sword to deliver you from those who would destroy your Empire>>

Clad in ceremonial vestments and armour adorned with religious icons, Warrior Priests smite creatures of darkness with righteous fury. The Cult of Sigmar demands that its followers fight all forms of evil with martial feats as well as with faith, so many of its priests accompany the Empire's armies as they march to war. A Warrior Priest can summon their faith to lend steel to their blows in combat, destroy creatures of darkness or shield themselves from harm. Woe betides the foe facing an army filled with such divine power.

If evil is overwhelming you and your foes are suddenly confident of victory, then your Warrior Priest will have a nasty surprise in store for them. Drawing upon his loyal faith in Sigmar, he will help increase his unit's resilience against enemy onslaught. What's more, his prayers will inspire his unit's ability to hurt your enemy. And if that doesn't work, he's also got a massive hammer to hit them with.

    Spearmen:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
State troops form the mainstay of the Empire's armies. As well as forming a standing army, state troops serve as city guards and enforcers of all local laws. They may be armed in a variety of ways although the most common is either halberd, sword or spear.

    Greatswords:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Members of the Greatswords are grim men who fight with massive, two-handed blades that can cleave an armoured Knight in twain with one blow. Clad in magnificent suits of Dwarf-forged plate armour, only Men who have taken part in the thickest and bloodiest fighting are ever promoted to the ranks of the Greatswords, and countless battles have been won by these honourable soldiers and their incredible feats of arms.

    Great Cannon:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The Imperial Gunnery School at Nuln is the biggest cannon foundry in the world. Cannons are large weapons of war utilising the explosive force of black powder to hurl a metal ball (called "shot") hundreds of metres towards a target, usually the enemy. Cannons are used by Dwarfs and The Empire. It is here where the Great Cannons of the Empire are made. "There are no problems that cannot be solved with cannons." - Chief Engineer Boris Krauss of Nuln

    Mortar:

Very good looking but where are the hats? Think that halberd should be much more important than spear and shield because of early 16th century feeling for imperial army.

Armor is county specific, poorer ones don't give state troops armor etc. And it's a spearman, not a pikeman.

Why are the spearmen holding weapon on left hands?! It breaks the law of medieval total war II where people are always right handed.

Also the great sword right hand should be top grasp and left lower with the right shoulder tucked back, basically complete opposite.

I'm quite sure being left handed isn't illegal anywhere.

Did I say it was a crime? Did I Imply it? All I said was that the right hand should be dominant, seeing as much of the human race has the dominant right hand, as one of the many right handed people it looks UN-natural and disturbs me.
