What else can i do?
keep it : it's a nice ancillary (gives good bonus to general).
But then the evil factions will declare war unto you.
...which is an excellent excuse to kill them all!
My A-list of mods to play

What would be cool as a feature would be the possibility to claim it for yourself : you would gain all it's power but every other faction (good and evil) would declare war on you.
10.000 Is that a joke? Sauron just gave me a mere 10k for the one ring. I expected 30k atleast... Maybe some elite troops aswell...
You must have not seen the price of bread recently.
Yes indeed its not very much..
You should have given it to that one berserker from the Battle of Helms Deep Legolas couldn't shoot, he would have eaten the entire fortress on his own
Ooh, you took the Hobbits to Isengard?

That's a couple of nice buildings, some good soldiers... it's nothing to sniff at. And it's a hell of a lot better than having all evil factions out to get you, in addition to all the good factions that were already out to get you.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, as they say....
Not to mention, having the ability to "claim" the Ring and gain its power would completely violate everything it says in the books.
Might be nice if Saruman gained some sort of power from it. Lore-wise, we know he is a strong enough being to use the ring and he was trying to claim it for his own instead of handing it over to Sauron. Of course, this should be balanced out with Mordor immediately declaring war, and possibly an invasion called, to give an Isengard player second thoughts on betraying Sauron.
Good idea but Saruman should have an elite unit like Sauron then!
