How do you build privateers as Britain?

Great mod, trying it out mainly because of the new naval options. I'm playing as Britain but I can't seem to be able to build any sloops, cutters or brigs in any of my ports - I can build any rated ships or traders but not the unrated privateers. Am I missing a technology or building at the start to build these?

Yes, you need Letter of Marque tech researched first. Only then you will be able to build them. Also, if you have researched carronades, you will be able to research carronade versions of those ships.
