CK2 - Change titles?

I've been playing CK2 for a while now and last time I noticed that when Salzburg was conquered from one faction to another, it changed from being ruled by a prince-bishop to a count.
Is it possible to change titles from the provinces that you own? To make them either bishop, count or mayor?

It depends on which title a character holds first. If a bishop becomes the equivalent of a duke it will become a pince-bishop. Also since bishoprics are investiture if you give a bishop a county or dukedom it will also become investiture. On the flip side If you give a baron, count, or duke a bishopric it will become whatever secession law that character already has.
