My apologies, still haven't got the mouse and managing the competition is just god awful with a laptop pad. The shipment should have been delivered by now but I suppose I've got to sort it out myself. Well, it is Easter holidays, lame excuse for business and I am running out of patience.

Well finally got the mouse with a fair compensation from the company because of the mistake in their registry which delayed the order this much. We're back in business!

Thanks for the patience and understanding.

From the FAQ: to vote in polls you have to have 25 posts and been registered for at least one week.

You can't edit out a poll option without getting administrators involved.

    I just let them know.

couldn΄t take this massmurder national- and internationsocialist crap.
in germany, national socialist hitler founded this day as the official labour day...

    edit:

sorry to bother, but for me, socialism in all it΄s playing (green, red, darkred, brown, black, yellow, national, international ...) is a bad ideology and caused more death and brutal depressions to mankind than any other ideology. most people having "fun" on demonstrations today aren΄t actual workers anymore or get payed for constructive labour. they are mostly etatits or people living from other people labour.

What did or did not your Austro-German corporal of the Kaiser named Adolf Hitler is totally meaningless when we celebrate the May Day, let me remind what we are trying to remember today on May 1, 2015, from Wiki:
International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day in some places, is a celebration of laborers and the working classes that is promoted by the international labor movement, anarchists, socialists, and communists and occurs every year on May Day, 1 May, which also coincides with the Celtic spring festival. The date was chosen for International Workers' Day by the Second International to commemorate the Haymarket affair, which occurred in Chicago on 4 May 1886. This Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
    Haymarket Affair (from Wiki):
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The Haymarket affair (also known as the Haymarket massacre or Haymarket riot) was the aftermath of a bombing that took place at a labor demonstration on Tuesday May 4, 1886, at Haymarket Square in Chicago. It began as a peaceful rally in support of workers striking for an eight-hour day and in reaction to the killing of several workers the previous day by the police. An unknown person threw a dynamite bomb at police as they acted to disperse the public meeting. The bomb blast and ensuing gunfire resulted in the deaths of seven police officers and at least four civilians; scores of others were wounded.

In the internationally publicized legal proceedings that followed, eight anarchists were convicted of conspiracy. The evidence was that one of the defendants may have built the bomb, but none of those on trial had thrown it. Seven were sentenced to death and one to a term of 15 years in prison. The death sentences of two of the defendants were commuted by Illinois governor Richard J. Oglesby to terms of life in prison, and another committed suicide in jail rather than face the gallows. The other four were hanged on November 11, 1887. In 1893, Illinois' new governor John Peter Altgeld pardoned the remaining defendants and criticized the trial.

The Haymarket affair is generally considered significant as the origin of international May Day observances for workers. The site of the incident was designated a Chicago Landmark in 1992, and a public sculpture was dedicated there in 2004. In addition, the Haymarket Martyrs' Monument at the defendants' burial site in nearby Forest Park was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1997.

"No single event has influenced the history of labor in Illinois, the United States, and even the world, more than the Chicago Haymarket Affair. It began with a rally on May 4, 1886, but the consequences are still being felt today. Although the rally is included in American history textbooks, very few present the event accurately or point out its significance," according to labor studies professor William J. Adelman.
So, at least for me, no Hitler here, just a day to remember those who are working to produce the goods we are using every day without thinking that they are the result of the hard work of millions people that nobody knows but all should remind, at least today. So, once again: good May Day Eve comrades from every country.

Ops forgetting: Good May Day also to you Tartaros.

Sorry to hear if May Day has a bad meaning in their minds; everyone is entitled to form their own opinion of course. Where I am from the May Day is a major day in our festival culture and it has been celebrated in fairly good spirit: everyone appreciates that the long winter in ending, granting more than one good reason to go sit down in parks and having fun with friends. Socialist have traditionally held Labour Day parades all over the country and radio plays a socialist songs for a while, beside the leftist the May Day has traditionally had a special meaning for all students and it still has.

Apologies if my wish hurt someone's feelings, I intented it in a harmless manner. Didn't think that the day is notorious or controversial in some places, I will keep that in mind in the future.

Please let us not go into a discussion about the history of May Day and keep this thread on-topic.
