How what you did considered a civial war ?. I mean you do not even stand a chance if all the lords unite and fight you. I mean if it was a invason then yeah civil war between those that want a new king and those that support the old. But what you did instead was like attack the captial... Which is not going to do much or maybe it will.

Well, seeing as the two Targaryen candidates for kingship are both in King's Landing and may die in the defense of the city, there'd be no civil war. Just a continuation of the invasion but now with the invader's leader as "King". Unless you mean they appoint a Westerosi house. Then I don't know what will occur.

Also...civil wars don't normally work out in this game. The game's version of the Dance of the Dragons is proof of that.

I suppose it would be a continuation of the invasion but with the Crownlands fallen many of those Bannermen would switch sides and the rest of the Seven Kingdoms would be fighting the enlarged invasion from the Crownlands.
