Default How about some Gerudo love?

Come on fellas, land of the ladies!

Some issues I have with Gerudo are...

    1. Single character models for all units, maybe intended but it makes for a very dull look.

    2. Wears little armor and no hybrid missle/melee units to be found. (But the best cavalry archers in the game). My archers are amazing but I'd prefer bow/melee hybrids if this was the case.

    3. The whole tech tree process feels dull... mainly because of the small unit roster. (My units never feel "elite" at any point).

    4. There could be so much more units and buildings done with this faction.

    5. LARGE FORTIFIED BARRACKS DOES NOTHING!!! NODDA! ZIP!

Just some suggestions, I really like the faction though.

I think this issue should be brought up in the Gerudo development page. also, I think there has to be a point where a faction just does not have something.(like heavy armor or high elite troops) They do need a weakness.

I believe he means the bronze and iron knuckles, the gold knuckles only serve as generals.

I can't seem to find them in the building browser but my mistake sorry... is there some event that unlocks them?

There was suppossed to be a Golden Knuckle unit once. it used to be listed, but i'm not sure if it still is. Never been in game though.

Unless there's an even that none of us have yet to discover, it might just be the fact that the Knuckles have yet to be implemented in the campaign itself, because they're available in custom battle.

Bronze knuckles are a temple unit like the triforce vanguard. They can only be built in regions with a temple. The spirit temple, the temple of time, and the shadow temple in Kakariko are a few examples.

I beg to differ. Before Knuckles had their General/Officer unit set to be the same knuckle as the unit being commanded, a Knuckle unit had the next tier knuckle as it's officer.

So, for instance, a unit of Bronze Knuckles had an Iron knuckle giving orders at one point.

The Iron Knuckle unit USED to have a Golden Knuckle give orders.

I'm paraphrasing from when the Golden Knuckles description was still on the Gerudo Page:

Golden Knuckles were when a TRULY GREAT MALE WARLORD was so. . . great, as to not just have his spirit infused into a suit of armor like other Knuckles, but to have a female gerudo's spirit infused into the armor as well. (Or was it her body?)

Now, how can I describe it best?

In battle, they wielded what I suppose was supposed to be a bow, and not just a two bladed sword that had the blades face the same way. Think Pit's bifurcated bows from Kid icarus, except M2 doesn't support breaking your bow into two pieces or letting officers/generals use a ranged attack, so it just ended up being a giant fancy, golden sword. Anyway, its armor was, obviously, golden in color. The shoulder plates were a bit larger than that of an Iron Knuckles. The most notable difference, however, was the stone cold Gerudo Woman's face in place of that floating mask. I don't think the eyes had pupil's in them, and her hair was. . . longer than normal. It went up at a tall arc then reached down to her mid-back section in length?

That's all I can remember from it. They were definitely in game, but not as a separate unit. I think I last remember seeing them in the release before the very earliest version of campaign. A pity, to, as your timing is poor-I just deleted the installer for that version yesterday while cleaning up my computer.

    Arise, my army!

Oh, I know Gerudo love. At around turn 20 every game, the neighbours suddenly realize that all the 10/10 women fled into the desert, which leads to invasion on all fronts by lovesick hylians, peasants, moblins and darknuts. Can't wait for the Twili AI to get fixed so I have to deal with Martians stealing my women on top of that.

So are the Knuckles recruit able in campaign currently then? If so which settlements have the temples in them to produce them?

    Just found the landmarks and Historical buildings section. It specifies the temples and what they build;

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Spirit Temple:
Created by the Gerudo and Zuna centuries ago, the Spirit Temple served as a place of worship and communion with the spiritual afterlife, a belief once held by the Gerudo. In due time it eventually became a giant tomb where Gerudo Warlods were burried in honor. Currently the Spirit Temple is rarely frequented by anyone.
    Abilities:
    - Allows the training of Bronze Kmuckles if controlled by the Gerudo.
    - Increases the spread of Goddess Acknowledgement when controlled by a faction of that religion.
    - Increases the morale of Goddess Acknowledgement factions.
    - Allows for the "Ring of Warlords" event to take place.

Doesn't specify where its at apart from the desert , guess I'll have to check it out.
    *Sorry for the double post*

I believe it's in the city left of the entrance to the Ghoma's land.
