Absolutely fantastic - shame to have go to war with such good looking troops!

Apologies but correction required to shako information: Line jager should be number 5 not 8. Will correct in earlier post.

Thanks for the corrections. I hope to finish the 1805 Prussians this week end and will move to 1808 next week.

Last missing units for infantry / foot artillery in 1805-1806 (except garrison/citizens, but I'll make the later).

    Von Schill's Freikorps

    Sapper

Landwehr. Normally they were none in 1805, although there were some plans to make them. So for gameplay balance, I made my own version, with a great coat with a less saturated Prussian blue.

When looking at the screens above I was not happy with the buttons, they looked too big, so I changed them a little.

    And

A third version. I think this one looks better. But from my historical references, the buttons were big

So I think version 2 is probably the most accurate.

I think it is probably better without the extra relief effect I used with version 2. The buttons don't look that big, although they stand out less.

Looks like you have a case of too big too small
a midpoint between the two would be best

On mainy reference pictures, the Prussian dragoons have a large bicorne, and worn tilted to the bottom and the right.

I hope I manage to catch it correctly.

Not very easy since there is one pixel difference on the texture. Can I make it a half pixel?

Hi, i just wanted to mention that i have seen quite a few pictures of officers and marshals wearing their bi-corne tilted like the dragoons. I am really sorry that i cannot provide pictures because i honestly don't remember the names of the paintings, but the majority of them were French or Russian. I can do some scavenging to see if i can find some proper sources or pictures, anyways its just a suggestion.

Meh, i could only find it for Austrians and Russians ( French marshals too ), not Prussians. It still looks pretty cool though, but this mod seems to be mostly oriented towards historical accuracy. Anyhow, it is hard to believe that the Prussian officers would not copy what was fashionable ( Some atleast ).

I think the bicornes could be smaller, if they're too big it'll just look silly.

It looks quite good to me (tilted bicornes)... an impressive an realistic military fashion detail! I must add that the buttonholes are also superb. I prefer your last version (third) of the buttons (just my taste). Regards.

See images from Kling - which give a good scaling of the actual bicorn... they were large!!!!! The reference pictures used by Steph capture them well too

Dragoon with officer and trumpeter. I reduced a little the size of the bicorn, and I have added the small piece of white cloth on the neck, although it's not really visible. I will add it to infantry as well.

    Horse artillery

And towarczys. For once, CA hat was good

I know the cuff is not perfect, I used the same coat as the dragoon to get the straight lapels, and mostly added a better belt.
