Walrus is right. Some pictures would clarify situation. I think "dark" units can be result of using advanced shaders. Some graphic cards are not able to handle advanced shaders. Let's guess - ATI?.
Skoo, i will place patch to AE soon. New patch will fix some problems with recruitment system, i.e. possibility of recruitment italian units by other factions. Greeks should be able to recruit 4 units (historically: samnites or less historically lucanians. Carthaginians can recruit most of new units).
About unit cards. I fixed this problem. Unit cards for naval mod was not available for other nations too, for instance - Carthaginians (surely you have barracks icons instead of proper ones).
Corrected UI cards will be available in BETA 3.0 release. I plan to release BETA 3.0 because decided to implement "Navigable Rivers" into AE. This way i would like to test RTR AE before final release.
Btw, i'm thinking about adding Kalis "river ports" into RTR AE. River ports would be available for navigable rivers.

I found the error, however i can`t place pictures, because the print screen feature didn`t work, and i uninstalled paint [and other windows features for performance].
So, never... never install the omega drivers and the official ati drivers together, because you will see black sticks... i uninstalled the drivers, reinstall the original, now works, thanx for help!![]()
To make "print screen" button active you have to select "balanced" settings for graphic card in your RTW/RTR options.
You can also download "Fraps" from the web. Very good programm for capturing images.
I posted this in the main thread because i thought I had done something wrong, but it is infact a bug. It would seem that dual recruitment system in italy is causing problems for the metropolis part of the mod. This is because (i think) the 'Italian allies barracks' line of auxilia buildings is different to the normal roman ones. So the buildings 'auxilia 1' 'auxilia 2' that lead up to 'italian allies barracks' are different to the ones that lead to 'roman provincial barracks' this means any of the cities that make up the italian allies dont get the benefits of metropolis farming, making buildings like 'colonization' and 'farmland' rather useless in italy.
Don't forget that you're using Beta version. Thanks for valuable info. I'm still working on recruitment system. I'll try to make some changes to EDB.

After:

should be added following syntax respectively (for each level of farms):
1. "or building_present_min_level romanisation_roman auxilia_phase1"
2. "or building_present_min_level romanisation_roman auxilia_phase2"
3. "or building_present_min_level romanisation_roman city_barracks"

Is that all that needed doing? Because i dont think your one will cover the clearance buildings. i just did that but with every single farm building. (clearance and hinterland farms) My one works. You also have to cover all the 'mine_resource' bonuses and 'mine_resource' itself for the clearances to work. This one is tested and works 100%
farms requires factions { ........roman, } and building_present_min_level clearance clearance1 and not hidden_resource desert or factions { barbarian, carthaginian, eastern, parthia, egyptian, greek, roman, } and building_present_min_level clearance irrigation1 and hidden_resource desert
clearance1 to be built requires only romans and resource gold
Next, mine resources are generated by auxilia buildings (for instance by roman auxilia and romanisation auxilia).
So, italian cities can build clearance1 (they have set "gold" in descr_regions).
Next, they can receive bonus.
I think only:
"or building_present_min_level romanisation_roman auxilia_phase1"
should be added.

About the black carthagians... they are black only in desert, strange, but doesen`t matter, i have another problem, it is not a bug, but is your submod, so first i ask you.
The game crash at the end of turn, in random years. First i thought is about my tactic, capture enemy settlement, destroy all buildings and go away, the settlements revolts but can`t made soldiers.
I restart the campaign, but it happens again. And again.
I uploaded 2 saves from 3, pls check out if you can end the turn without crash.

Hi Skoo. Are you talking about Hannibal's Infantry? They are not black. Their skin is tanned. They are mostly Lybians. I think that you have stil problems with your graphic card.
I'll check your saved games soon.
