Is that the final Skin of TWC?

Hi is the actual brownish one the actual skin for twc?

It looks quite poor in my opinion and not really matching board colors , icons etc .... I suppose i'ts still wip but even the background wood is really off ...

DO you need any graphic help ?

Its still a work in progress, as you can see it has already advanced heavily in the past week

Can we just go back to whatever we had before the "upgrade"? All that's happened is it feels more like a buggier, uglier form of Facebook now.

Well everyone, I hope you like it a bit more now that I have worked many hours to make it a little better. More skins will be created in the next few months I suspect. The old ones are not compatible so they will all have to be remade.

No we can't. And it's a demonstrable upgrade both in terms of what the software is capable of and security, so I don't know why you've decided that because you don't like the cosmetics, it deserves to be put in speech marks.

I myself do not mind the sites new colours.
I did notice though more lag at times with loading pages.
Of course its a work in progress and there is always room for performance improvement?

Isn't that caused because GED and/or Squid are working on the site and updating things as we browse?

I'm pretty sure it's no news for any of you, but the loading issues are the main ones to be handled. I am also quite certain that this is already on the first priorities to be taken care of.

The skin on the other hand looks fine to me and pretty similar to the one I was used to in the old times!

But having options to change the skin wouldn't be such a bad idea. (unless you are planning to create skins with ponies or such, that would be awkward to say the least for a Total War forum!
