Yes. It's a bit sad to see that this happens but I'm used to it.

I'm quite happy that this is one of the few places where we actually have a mild-mannered discussion about it without the crusading point-scoring as its international break and nobody knows what to do with their lifes. Its a cosy, little place, our cave, isn't it?
Anyway, we're about to sign our next superduperstriker for the grand sum of 100k while Tony Watt is wasting his career and the Chile game is likely to determine how long Fraser Forster will stay with us. Still two weeks until our big game against Aberdeen.
Danny, will you be at our AGM?
He's freakingly overpaid though, as is Riley. Lawwell gets 1m and refuses to pay the living wage for all employees? Aye...
Actually we should have continued our game this weekend with a full SFL block and the St Mirren game being on. Anyway, does anyone watch Scotland against the Yanks tonight? I probably won't be able to, but predict a close game.

At least the great team scored last time. Now Levein is gone and they can't even score.

Yea we probably should have continued it this week but I thought I'd leave it for the international break,
Kit's looking great, wasnt sure about it at first but it's grown on me, still bit weird not having white shorts. Sadly wasnt there last night -couldnt find anyone to go with- and as I understand it the attendence was poor, but a 0-0 is a decent result.
Had a wee laugh at Lawells joke, shame the rangers didnt share the laugh![]()

The attendance was poor and actually I can't agree that 0-0 at home is a good result. I watched Italy- Germany anyway, but the attendance was hardly better.4
Aye that was good, but the Huns are offended by everythingAs for the kit, I like the design, but it seems the Spider has already offended the Sassenachs... which is probably good

The spider makes me love it more, a bit of our glorious history on the kit. 0-0 may not be a good result but it's certainly better than 5-1 haha.

Treva, just admit that you are a linguist! Sassenachs: 894 000 google results. Sassanaichean: 0 google results. Do you want to question the eternal wisdom of mother google?
Aye, Andy, I love the detail that went into this shirt, I definitely have to get it. As for the result, keep in mind that the 5-1 was an end of the season game at almost 40 degree and at night time for our players. Germany also lost over there in 'Murica this year but I'd still expect us to pump them at home. ALTHOUGH I do think that the US have really improved under Jürgen Klinsmann, recording their first Gold Cup title in years, their first ever win down in Mexico and a number of impressive friendly results (including those two I ust spoke about, but also a win in Italy if I'm not mistaken). Apart from that the MLS also seems to become better and one should recognise that.

If only the kit had white shorts it would be perfect.

What the hell's wrong with ma multiquotes?Aye, I be cunning to dispute momma Google's half-witdom.
The US has improved because they started to import talent at huge expense. The only way tog et their own players to get better was by having them face better opposition. Still, beating Mexico is something everyone and their dog -barring new Zealand who are amateurs and have to ask their bosses for holidays to go and play- have done so it's not much of an achievement, yet beating a streak is a turning point. Maybe I should start on football streaks and superstitions but I'd beat the NaNoWriMo nuts too.Originally Posted by Mausolos of Caria
Blue shirt, white shorts, nothing else except the number on the back. Any football purist should think of that as the ideal shirt, both for club and country.Originally Posted by andysmfc1313404703

True, many foreigners have gone to the MLS in recent years. But when did the Kiwis ever beat Mexico? Especially IN Mexico like the US did? Also, 7 of their players play in Europe (in Sweden, Scotland, France and England) so they won't be amateurs. Of course you might be right about the New Zealandish and Australian leagues, but I have no idea.
You are truly a purist, Treva... that's why you should never ever watch Austrian football:

Writing on women's shorts distracts me from what's under them. Writing on men's shorts is silly. Both of those irk me.

Hoping we continue our good form today with a win over county, getting ready to give Collum some abuse.
We're also going to have a 68th minute round of applause for Simon Richardson who was murdered in Glasgow on Saturday after going out after our win at Partick Thistle, no one should die following there team.

That's very sad indeed, RIP
Not exactly Scotland, but I'm a bit worried about the England- Germany game right now. As much as I'm looking forward to beat them once again, I am aware that we will only field our ''B'' eleven. Both our strikers are out injured, our right back's being rested, both of our holding midfielders are injured, our goalkeeper is rested and finally our playmaker did fly back to Germany as well. That's seven players out (Klose, Gomez, Lahm, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Neuer & Özil) and if one adds Podolski and Gündogan (both injured) that's nine players we miss, of which at least six would normally start. But that squad won't count if we lose, so it makes for a difficult task.

Well the minutes applause went well, Paul Dummet came up for the game today.
Sproules an animal, horrible challenge, easy win.
As expected Collum got the abuse today, and it was great to see the Paisley Pandas acting like they used to and providing us with laughter, expecting them to get into trouble though, one had an umbrella and the other was walking about with a blow up referee, came up to our stand and then kicked the ref about the pitch to cheers from us. Then as the players came out Phil played It's raining men over the tannoy. I remember once we played Morton and the Panda came out with a bucket full of soap bars, chucked them into the ton fans end. Or the time when he ran up to the dons fans with his blowup sheep.
