    Ptolemaic Guards Cav Officer
(Commander - hipparchos of an "hipparchia" Agema Regiment with 512 horsemen or an "Ile" with 64 - an "epilarchia" with 128 or "tarantinarchia" with 256 men)
Thinkable also for the Seleucides Agema units ! Note - more saddle details coming soon.

    Spartacus (Kirk Douglas Face Study)

I hope, we can see the historian Slave revolts of Sicily and the famous Spartacus revolt with real historian units like heardsmen - slaves from the hills, germanic styled surviving Kimbern and Teutones and please no again unhistorical gladiator units for the slaves. We know - Gladiators fight in closed formations for the romans, but with legionary weapons.

    Looks great Andy,
Only the spears look a bit unfinished but that is just me nitpicking..

A few things - save for that comic, I have never seen a hat such as that. Most images, if they show a hat, show a Phrygian style hat.

The cloak - that is a very Celtic pattern. Not early Germanic.

The spears' texture is very unfinished. There is no edge to it (no shine).

I'm not a fan of the face either, really. Sorry, I just don't think its that great.
