I couldn't resist - despite not knowing a word of the language. The artwork is amazing however and made me read it purely as a visual feast!

Thanks for the rep Sebastianus Somerus! I bought it online from a great site - Lambiek
Received the books within seven days after ordering. I have read them all twice now and am still drooling over the illustrations.
Late Romans, in a comic!?!?! I never saw that before!
Dang! I have to spread out some rep first before "repping" SBH.....
炸鸡
Cool! Really cool!...........+rep for SBH!
Anyway the images are my faith! The images are stronger than the words (Baieux Tapestry!)!
...I envy you! Wonderful books!
Indeed, very neat!

I've been aware of Ken Broders for a while now. Sadly, there is no English translation (or any translation into any other language as far as I know) and both the style and accuracy of the story and its illustrations are spot on. It has a nice adult theme to it also, which I find refreshing.
The illustration are superb. Just waiting for that translation now!
Very recently the first 3 books have been translated in French. You can find them here: http://www.bdmust.be/djp_apostat.htm
Ah!......I saw a wonderful cu..oops!......a wonderful.......how can I say?.....a wonderful.....I've the Italian word for it, but the English.....a wonderful.......Nothing! Sorry!
Only this: Believe me guys! There is more than one reason to love those drawings!
I know exactly what you saw Diocle - I tried including it in my AAR in the episode where Hypatia and Julian finally fall for each other. Sadly, Imageshack had and continues to have other plans...
The artist is clearly very talented, in *all* aspects that are pleasing to the eye...
Just waiting for that English translation now. If French has already been done, English will (hopefully!) follow suit soon.
Wow, very impressive.
A shame that the page whereon Sassanians are displayed is in such as bad shape
