Let's go further, now every member of the party must recognize him as supreme and undiscussed leader at the cost of, again, being booted. Again, fascism. The irony, considering that 1 year ago, the Mov5Star kept claiming they were not Grillo's party, but just a movement of people.

Bottom line, it's just another, retarded, populist movement with fascist traits.

And let's not mention the total rejection of free market policies in the name of pseudo-national-socialist ones. Anybody who studied history knows where this is going.
He is populist, yes, but his policies on the media and the internet shows he is very much open to criticism and critical thought. He is totally against state control over such issues. And not everybody who disagrees with cowboy "free market" (that term has become outdated when you see the levels of corruption in Italy) economics coupled with dehumanising austerity measures is a fascist you know...

I was not aware he booted out party members for such reasons. Do you have a source? What were the reasons given?

I can understand why you hate him though, since you seem to hate Italians in general.

Plenty, but can you read Italian? Foreign media didn't really care about the issue.

One went on tv when Grillo said she shouldn't, the other criticized Grillo's partner in business.
And from his blog, Grillo said that anybody accusing him of being undemocratic would be booted from the party. (The irony).

the parties, with all the disasters that they have done to this country, they are more controllable by the citizens than they are Grillo and Casaleggio
Sounds good to me. And Grillo appeared to be sarcastic for one of them.

I accept this seems over the top though.

At least there are two of us. I thought that 90 years of horribly destructive choices had taught us to learn from our mistakes.
Heh, guess I was wrong, right?

At this point it can be easily claimed that the unification process was a huge mistake. All the pre-existing Italian kingdoms were better off by themselves or under foreign rulers.
Send the Borbons back to Southern Italy, Lombardy and Veneto to Austria and so on..

Trying to turn back history is a mistake you should have learned from Mussolini.

Not for PM, but he'll still be head of list or something of the sort. A bit like Monti.

In fact worse, he hinted that he'd want the Finance Minister job.

I have the impression that the Center-Left coalition will whip the floor with Berlusconi's party this time... two Right-wing or "Center-Right" parties running in the same election(one with Silvio and the other with Monti) is definitely going to do a lot of good for the Democrats(Center-Left).

    Definitely.
And it's hard to call them ''Center-Left'', when the moderate members of the party already quit or are being left out of the lists.
The Left will win the election. Grillo and Monti will come close to each other for the second and third place. Berlusconi and Lega Nord will be smashed because only retarded fanboys will keep voting for them.
Then the Left will try to form a coalition government with Monti to gain credibility and we will have another Christian-Left government like the ones that ruled Italy from the 60s to the early 90s and created the massive debt that kills the country. The Church, the cooperatives, the trade unions and all the other groups linked to one party or the other will have their priviledges untouched and the average citizen will keep paying. Because my fellow retarded countrymen never learn.

Ironically, few days ago Monti warned about this, but there is no alternative scenario. He himself accepted the support of the Vatican cancer.

Is Grillo not open to a coalition I presume? I think it would benefit Italy to have him in government keeping the corrupt in check without the radical reforms he is proposing should he eventually get full power.

When you say "The Left" though, are you also referring to Left Ecology Freedom? Because I think the PD and they could possibly form a coalition together without Monti's help. The only problem is that all the other parties will start waving the usual anti-leftist labels and Left Ecology Freedom will be scapegoated.

Nah he won't join any coalition. I'm actually considering voting him to accelerate the collapse of this .

Yea, but that movement sucks. As for a single party government, depends on the electoral law they are attempting to change. Not sure what kind of mess will come out. The Left will try to cooperate with Monti anyways, they want the international reputation that right now only Monti has.

I struggle to see how direct democracy leads to fascism. Populism perhaps, but that is the only danger.

What direct democracy? The movement started as movement of the people and now it's Grillo's way or the highway. There is no democracy at all. He decides, you are with him or against him.
The movement itself shares plenty of traits with fascism, not only the worshipping of the leader, but also the total rejection of capitalism as something imposed by foreign conspiracies (random xenophobia), the promotion of wild social ideas (modern Argentina as an example to follow), the aggressive tones of the political campaign, the censorship (any criticism on Grillo's blog or forum leads to immediate ban and removal of posts) and so on.

    Just in, from Silvio:
    "bribes are necessary"

Silvio we know and love again. Sure, he won't get in power, but he will get enough votes to be important and keep saying stuff like that.

    FORZA SILVIO BERLUSCONI ! ! !

And for those that don't like Silvio for his bluntness (and for being so corrupt that doesn't understand bribes are bad) Berlusconi has an answer:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
