Problems with RSII and Steam

I downloaded the mod using this link, followed the instructions and got the launcher to work. I can use the launcher i choose to play as Rome and select Rome BI and then hit play RSII. Next the game crashes and opens a command prompt " -mod:play_rome -show_err " and an error that says "problem checking steam application" Any help would be much appreciated as i really do want to play this awesome looking mod!

As I recall, Rome needs to be capitalized. Try this modlay_Rome -nm -show_err
