Vassal 40k
So I was looking at the Wikipedia page for Games Workshop, looking for something that I remember being related to the company years ago (something like Historical Warhammer or something), and I read a section called criticism of Games Workshop and saw a little thing about Vassal, which I have never heard of before. So it turns out, Vassal basically allows people to play tabletops on the internet, and there is a module for Warhammer 40k. So I guess there is an alternative to those not wanting to spend money eh? I plan on trying this out with my roommate sometime in the future.
So has anyone tried this thing? Is it fun and worthwhile?

Re: Vassal 40k
It's an ok program.
Has some bugs like someone can join your room and then make you unable to use the rulers.
Not as fun as playing with your own models but it's great for trying some new things out.

Re: Vassal 40k
Reminds me of the battle reports that came out in the White Dwarfs magazines. Back in the 00's.
