Default Unable to play MPC since Otomo DLC was released

    Greetings TW centre.

I have run into bit peculiar problem ever since the Otomo DLC was released, as the title suggests. To repeat it yet again: regardless if me and my co-player are running pure vanilla, Darthmod, or any other mod whether personal test or something else altogether, it gives incompatible version error.

So far list of solutions we have tried out:

    1. Remove any traces of mods installed, delete fx_cache, ui_cache, scripts etc etc, and validate game files on Steam. Nothing ever came out of it. Same error, even when 200% positive no mods are running.

    2. Make sure we both have exactly same mod setup, settings, and in case of some kind of self-made minimod, sent to the other player before even trying to host a game. Same error, “surprise.”

    3. Searched practically through every common FAQ thread available on CA's official forums and other threads here. Out of luck, including clientregistery.blob and related fixes have been attempted to no avail.

    4. Tried different routers and forwarded ports accordingly.

    5. Made sure there are no leftovers before the patch; no patch_[x].pack files are present in the base folder.

    6. Practically exhausted every imaginable possibility that might fall within the realm of possibility, and with a bit of redundancy as noted, this is only the cliff notes edition.

Edit: 7. We have also done a complete reinstallation of Shogun 2 as well as purging The Creative Assembly folder from appdata and STW2 folder from Steam, as well as cleaned registry after. This also includes modified.txt has never before been present in logs folder, and neither has it after the problem popped up.

Before the Otomo DLC there has been no trouble ever with the multiplayer regardless of mods and alike, even after we both eventually changed routers within the past six months. Neither of us have the Otomo DLC pack, and only after it was released the problem reared it's ugly end with no remedy in sight, and we're running out of ideas.

    So... any ideas?
