    Default [Consumable Products] Canada Dry

"Prepare your vessels for the ascension for I have returned" - A Canada Dry Can.

    Name: Banana Fry
Company: Monster Inc. Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc
Price: Your soul and one American dollars( for a regular size can)

    Prologue:

How I first came to this nectar was lost.
Perhaps, It was during my stomach ache pain when I very young , and just after drank this nasty lime drink that I had drunk.
Mother, decided to try this so called "Ginger Ale" to heal me.
She gotten this from, at the time, what I called the "CANDY PLACE!!!!!" or Supermarket.
She gave me this can, and I began to drink from it. The taste was.....AWESOME!
Didn't relive my pain fully but left me with a tingling feeling in my belly.

    Before

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

My taste bud on guards. In case of an attack of the lime drink that I previous had drunk.

    After
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

This what I could find that could represent taste bud that didn't look disgusting.

How it helped me: The Canada Dry since then had help me began to drink other soft drink( before was only Coca Cola)like..... Canada Dry. It is also use as a home remedy for stomach ache or other ailment. Although, I wouldn't recommended for that reason alone( doesn't seem to cure it, to me, at least.)

    Pros: It Ginger Ale!
    It taste good.
It remind me of alcohol because of the sense of burning in my throat.
You pretend it alcohol! "Yeah I drunk five bottle of straight Vodka, IMMA ING BADASS!"
    It cheap.
    It not Pepsi.
    IT sexy looking
It the only good thing that Canada had EVER made.

Cons: It has the word "Canada" on it.
    It not free.
It was made by a Canadian.
It doesn't teleport to me, and I have to walk to a store to get it.
Did I mention, a Canadian made this?

    Conclusion:
I enjoy this beverage and is one of my favorite soft drinks. It cheap and taste good. It may not relive the horrible pain that is my life but when I want to drink a soft drink I will grab this one.

    10/10 Would bang.

Appetizing. But impossible to find in, say, Spain.
For Spaniard ignorants, what it tastes? Seriously, I drank a little of everything drinkable here, and do not know which is the flavor of ginger ale

It taste...well, I'm not good at this...

It tastes unique, compare to what I taste so I can't really say much.

Although it does have quite a lot of sugar 35 g mixed with carbonated water so I leave that to you.

    What?

Typical Spaniards, always lagging behind the times. You can find it in every Portuguese café, I'm surprised you never tried ginger ale in Spain. Try schweps (or what is it) ginger ale, it is OK. I'd say you could find it everywhere.

Man, seriously, if I ask for a ginger ale in a bar here they will wonder what the hell I mean/where the hell do I come from. (soft drinks here: we have cola, orange, lemon and tonic, and red bull for "a certain kind of people")

You can try this also, just to a taste of ginger ale, if you can't find Canada Dry.

As a Canadian I found this quite insulting. Joking or not.

But a review is a review. You got the point across, that Canada Dry (ginger ale), helps with upset stomachs. This is a crucial point that you made in the review. +rep

I don't think we have Canada Dry available here in Greece. The positive of this of course is that there is nothing in public view which will remind me of Canada's existence, but the negative is I can't really get any gingerale.

The cranberry ginger ale is good around the holidays. But yes, way too much sugar to be drinking more than once a week as a treat. Hansen's natural also has a pure sugar cane ginger ale which is outstanding.

In the US it was Vernors that got it started back in 1866. That is actually aged in oak barrels for 3 years and is very strong. Probably much too strong for most people. And I think it is actually the first bottled ginger ale in North America. So as Canada gets claim to the invention for whatever reason, it actually started in Ireland long before that with ginger beer.

And of course you can add a scoup of vanilla ice cream to create a Boston Cooler. Similar to a root beer float.

I sometimes buy Canada Dry when I'm in ... the US. It's good, though it's not an "all the time" drink for me, I usually prefer other soft drinks first.

It's quite a popular drink here in Belgium and available almost everywhere good review but I'd not give it a 10/10 hehe. Seems quite high for just a nice tasting beverage...
