USA is playable via Road to Independence campaign. You actually have to complete all three chapters to unlock late era USA campaign. While first two chapters are more like a tutorial, third chapter is modified to provide some good challenge fighting war of Independence as USA. Its a short campaign, anyway its possible to finish it by 1783. Player will have access to advanced tech since the beginning, but you will have to build your logistics to field better troops and guns.Until then, you will have to count on your Minuteman Militia and possible help from French allies.
Final Fourth chapter is already mentioned American campaign on full Campaign Map starting in 1783 till 1825, where main goals are to start expansion west, while establishing healthy economy, which would require player to build effective navy to protect their interests overseas.
thanks for the quick answer im gonna play it right now thanks
i really recommend that third chapter, i spend some good times playing it. and it really provides a lot of challenge as you need to face experienced British Regular Units with your militias and win... They have better weapons, better artillery, experienced infantry, very good light cavalry and great generals... all you have are Minutemens, single province in the beginning and you as a commander...
Anyway to skip those first 2 tutorial segments? I hate when companies do that with their games. BTW while i'm here, does either napoleon or shogun 2 do that crap with their tutorials?
