A few songs that were popular when i was a young'un, ahh to be young again.

    Special Brew.

I love you, yes i do
'cos i know that you love me too
I love you, yes i do
gona spend all my money on you

everyday when i say, that i'm not gona take anymore
its ok, don't go away, i feel bad when you're closing the door

    I love you

Need some more, to restore all the feeling that i get from you
i want more, give me more, all i want is a barrell of you

I love you, yes i do
'cos i know that you love me too
i love you, yes i do
gona spend all my money on you
    woh woh woh woh

    (trumpet instrumental)

I don't care, when they stare, at the way that i'm always with you
we're a pair, it's not fair when they say we're a special brew!
    woh woh woh woh

    I love you

    hey...hey...hey...hey...
    hey...hey...hey...hey...
    hey...hey...hey...hey...
    hey...hey...hey...hey...

Everyday, when i say, that i'm not gona take anymore
it's ok, dont go away, i feel bad when you're closing the door

Need some more, to restore all the feeling that i get from you
i want more, give me more, all i want is a barrell of you
woh woh woh woh woh woh woh

    (instrumental)

I love you, yes i do
cos i know that you love me too!!!

    Too much too young

You done too much much too young
You're married with a kid when you could be having fun with me
You done too much much too young
Now you're married with a son when you should be having fun with me

Don't wanna be rich, don't wanna be famous

Ain't he cute, no he ain't
He's just another burden on the welfare state

Call me immature, call me a poseur
I'll to spread manure in your bed of roses
Don't we wanna be rich Don't we wanna be famous
But I'd really hate to have the same name as you

You done too much much too young
Now you're chained to the kitchen making currant buns for tea

Ain't you heard of the starving millions
    Ain't you heard of conraception
Do you really wanna go with the sterilization
Take control of the population boom
    It's in your living room
    Keep a generation gap
    Try wearing a cap

    The Message.

    Broken glass everywhere
People pissing on the stairs, you know they just
    Dont care
I cant take the smell, I cant take the noise
Got no money to move out, I guess I got no choice
Rats in the front room, roaches in the back
Junkies in the alley with a baseball bat
I tried to get away, but I couldnt get far
Cause the man with the tow-truck repossessed my car
    Chorus:
Dont push me, cause Im close to the edge
Im trying not to loose my head
Its like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder
How I keep from going under

Standing on the front stoop, hangin out the window
Watching all the cars go by, roaring as the breezes
    Blow
Crazy lady, livin in a bag
Eating out of garbage piles, used to be a fag-hag
Search and test a tango, skips the life and then go
To search a prince to see the last of senses
Down at the peepshow, watching all the creeps
So she can tell the stories to the girls back home
She went to the city and got so so so ditty
She had to get a pimp, she couldnt make it on her
    Own

    Chorus:
Its like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder
How I keep from goin under

My brothers doing fast on my mothers t.v.
Says she watches to much, is just not healthy
All my children in the daytime, dallas at night
Cant even see the game or the sugar ray fight
Bill collectors they ring my phone
And scare my wife when Im not home
Got a bum education, double-digit inflation
Cant take the train to the job, theres a strike
    At the station
Me on king kong standin on my back
Cant stop to turn around, broke my sacroiliac
    Midrange, migraine, cancered membrane
Sometimes I think Im going insane, I swear I might
    Hijack a plane!

    Chorus:

My son said daddy I dont wanna go to school
Cause the teachers a jerk, he must think Im a
    Fool
And all the kids smoke reefer, I think itd be
    Cheaper
If I just got a job, learned to be a street sweeper
I dance to the beat, shuffle my feet
Wear a shirt and tie and run with the creeps
Cause its all about money, aint a damn thing
    Funny
You got to have a con in this land of milk and
    Honey
They push that girl in front of a train
Took her to a doctor, sowed the arm on again
Stabbed that man, right in his heart
Gave him a transplant before a brand new start
I cant walk through the park, cause its crazy
    After the dark
Keep my hand on the gun, cause they got me on the
    Run
I feel like an outlaw, broke my last fast jaw
Hear them say you want some more, livin on a
    Seesaw

    Chorus:

A child was born, with no state of mind
Blind to the ways of mankind
God is smiling on you but hes frowning too
Cause only God knows what you go through
You grow in the ghetto, living second rate
And your eyes will sing a song of deep hate
The places you play and where you stay
Looks like one great big alley way
Youll admire all the number book takers
Thugs, pimps, pushers and the big money makers
Driving big cars, spending twenties and tens
And you wanna grow up to be just like them
    Smugglers, scrambles, burglars, gamblers
    Pickpockets, peddlers and even pan-handlers
You say Im cool, Im no fool
But then you wind up dropping out of high school
Now youre unemployed, all null n void
Walking around like youre pretty boy floyd
Turned stickup kid, look what you done did
Got send up for a eight year bid
Now your man is took and youre a may tag
Spend the next two years as an undercover fag
Being used and abused, and served like hell
Till one day you was find hung dead in a cell
It was plain to see that your life was lost
You was cold and your body swung back and forth
But now your eyes sing the sad sad song
Of how you lived so fast and died so young

    Ladies love Country Boys
    Trace Adkins

She grew up in the city in a little subdivision
Her daddy wore a tie, mama never fried a chicken
Ballet, straight-As, most likely to succeed
They bought her a car after graduation
Sent her down South for some higher education
Put her on the fast track to a law degree

Now shes coming home to visit
Holding the hand of a wild-eyed boy

    With a farmers tan

Shes riding in the middle of his pickup truck
Blaring Charlie Daniels, yelling, Turn it up!
They raised her up a lady but theres one thing
    They couldnt avoid
    Ladies love country boys

You know mamas and daddies want better for their daughters
Hope theyll settle down with a doctor or a lawyer
And their uptown, ball gown, hand-me-down royalty

They never understand why their princess falls
For some camouflage britches and a southern-boy-drawl

Or why shes riding in the middle of a pickup truck
Blaring Hank Jr., yelling, Turn it up!
They raised her up a lady but theres one thing
    They couldnt avoid
    Ladies love country boys

You can train em, you can try to teach em
Right from wrong but its still gonna turn em on

And they go riding in the middle of a pickup truck
Blaring Lynyrd Skynyrd, yelling, Turn it up!
You can raise her up a lady but theres one thing
    You just cant avoid
    Ladies love country boys
    They love us country boys

U2's best protest song, Sunday Bloody Sunday. About the events of the Troubles, and its unreality... presented, I believe, from the view of a foreigner rather than an inhabitant, an impressive feat for an Irish band!
    Yes...

I cant believe the news today
Oh, I cant close my eyes and make it go away
    How long...
How long must we sing this song?
    How long? how long...

cause tonight...we can be as one
    Tonight...

    Broken bottles under childrens feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end street
But I wont heed the battle call
    It puts my back up
Puts my back up against the wall

    Sunday, bloody sunday
    Sunday, bloody sunday
Sunday, bloody sunday (sunday bloody sunday...)
    (allright lets go!)

    And the battles just begun
Theres many lost, but tell me who has won
The trench is dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart

    Sunday, bloody sunday
    Sunday, bloody sunday

    How long...
How long must we sing this song?
    How long? how long...

cause tonight...we can be as one
    Tonight...
    Tonight...

    Sunday, bloody sunday (tonight)
    Tonight
    Sunday, bloody sunday (tonight)
    (come get some!)

Wipe the tears from your eyes
    Wipe your tears away
    Wipe your tears away
    I wipe your tears away
    (sunday, bloody sunday)
I wipe your blood shot eyes
    (sunday, bloody sunday)

Sunday, bloody sunday (sunday, bloody sunday)
Sunday, bloody sunday (sunday, bloody sunday)
    (here I come!)

And its true we are immune
When fact is fiction and tv reality
    And today the millions cry
We eat and drink while tomorrow they die

The real battle yet begun (sunday, bloody sunday)
To claim the victory jesus won (sunday, bloody sunday)
    On...

    Sunday bloody sunday
    Sunday bloody sunday...

    I've got friends that do
    Tim McGraw

    This is for the nobody
The one in the crowd who's got a
    Lost look on his face
    This is for the down-trodden
The one that the world's forgotten
    Waitin' on a better day
Well I'm in no position to judge 'em
Well heaven knows they're just like me
    And I'm not alone
    In knowin' what it's like
To wonder where you're goin' in this crazy life
And I'm not alone in knowin' how it feels
To pray to God and sometimes wonder if He's real
'Cause I got friends that do
Yeah, I got friends that do

This is for the lost junkie
Who spends all his hard-earned money on somethin' that he hates
And this is for the found guilty
Who ain't gettin' out until he pays his debt to the state
And I'm in no position to judge 'em
Well heaven knows it could have been me
And I may not know what it's like
To lose your job 'cause a habit's got you gripped too tight
And I may not know how it feels
To lay your head down on a prison bed in a world of steel
But I got friends that do
Yeah, I got friends that do

    This is for yours truly
Just a little verse to remind me
We've all got somewhere to turn
And I may not know what it's like
To send my only Son to save the world and watch Him die
And I may not know how it feels
To hang there on the cross to prove that love is real
But I got friends that do
Yeah, I got friends that do
Yeah, I got friends that do
You know we all got friends that do

Paul Simon / Rene and Georgette Magritte with their dog after the war

    Rene and Georgette Magritte
With their dog after the war
    Returned to their hotel suite
    And they unlocked the door
    Easily losing their evening clothes
They danced by the light of the moon
    To the Penguins, the Moonglows
The Orioles, and The Five Satins
    The deep forbidden music
    They'd been longing for
    Rene and Georgette Magritte
With their dog after the war

    Rene and Georgette Magritte
With their dog after the war
    Were strolling down Christopher Street
When they stopped in a men's store
With all of the mannequins dressed in the style
That brought tears to their immigrant eyes
Just like The Penguins, the Moonglows
The Orioles, and The Five Satins
    The easy stream of laughter
    Flowing through the air
    Rene and Georgette Magritte
With their dog apres la guerre

    Side by side
    They fell asleep
    Decades gliding by like Indians
    Time is cheap
When they wake up they will find
    All their personal belongings
    Have intertwined
    Oh Rene and Georgette Magritte
With their dog after the war
Were dining with the power elite
And they looked in their bedroom drawer
    And what do you think
    They have hidden away
In the cabinet cold of their hearts?
    The Penguins, the Moonglows
The Orioles, and The Five SatinsFor now and ever after
    As it was before

The Last 10 years by Kenny Rogers

Oh, the last ten years, it's been quite trip
Over thirty-six-hundred spins around without a cosmic slip
But within the realm of our atmosphere
We're 'bout as out of whack as we've ever been in a million years
We watched the Y2K scare in a panic
An' we watched as time proved Nostrodamus wrong
An' we watched as Mother Nature shook the planet
    An' cellular replaced the telephone
We lost Charlie Brown, Ray Charles an' Johnny Cash
    We even lost Superman, mhm.

Well, the last ten years, look at the hills we've climbed
The best golfer's black, the best rapper's white an' it's about damn time
But we best beware, there's a brand new fight, you see
An' I hate to say we might be our own worst enemy
We watched Oklahoma sifting through the damage
An' we watched a US President get caught
We watched shareholders watch their savings vanish
We all cried when we watched those towers fall
We lost Minnie Pearl, Ron Reagan and Sam Ahan
    We even lost Superman, mhm.

    Expensive gas an' free downloads
The dot-com boom, an' reality shows
What's gonna happen next is anybody's guess
    Satellite radio and hybrid cars
Hand-held computers an' a trip to Mars
It's all become a part of who we are
    In the last ten years.

    In the last ten years
We lost George Harrison, John Paul and June Carter-Cash
    Hell, we even lost Superman
    Gonna miss you. Chris...

One of the best rap duos ever to grace this world.

Excuse me for violating any swearing rules with this, I'll edit or delete if required.

Pete Rock & C. L. Smooth - Check It Out

    [CL Smooth]
We go back and forth, sending this out to my people up north
Tell 'em if you ain't from New York you're soft
Box or throw rocks, fish or cut bait
Cause I fight great, but wait
Here's the hottest joint on lockdown
Ready for release what they call a masterpiece
Covers are blown, known for keeping **** lethal
Cause now I'm like water in the desert for you thirsty people
What's the fixation with all this artillery?
Now you catch a look, saying "Who are you to question me?"
Giving sighs from enemy lines taking care of my business
Is how you found out Wayne's World was never his
See my pend holds strong for all my cookies in mink
We call all types of *****es running out of ink
later for ticky mind, avoid like suama
But I don't see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind

You know it's my thing, get your bell rang
By the Meccafied slang, the jack of all trades
Couldn't even gang bang, and ****** can't hang
With so many styles, you'd swear the **** was out of Wu-Tang
But the samurai, CL Smooth I
be slicing, dicing you down when the mic is around
I rebound like Oakley when you provoke me
This is the Chocolate Thai, be careful how you toke me
I razzle dazzle your fragile ass until you pay homage
To the man I plan is holding all the knowledge
In five minutes of funk off my tounge, read the label shown
Is it Pete Rock or Oliver Stone?
Still the same, they remember my name
Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
    Invincibility with no vulnerability
Selling more than gold with the killers on my payroll

You'd better watch your step, known for the rep
Of being real but can't accept jealous brothers and others
Who can't relax with pep, and if it was the playoffs
your ass would get swept and kept on stash
The Tango & Cash competitors bow
Cause I would think we all know who The Don is by now
Making loot at the pace of a horse race
Now once again my friend, the great paperchase
Here's a taste of life in the fast lane
Now house full of chicks, he's stripping off the Don P
With the profound sound, I ride swoops like a hawk
And can only bring the essence of New York
It's the Vernonville daddy, can you comprehend?
How some real live ****** set a new trend
Of being so blasted, smoothest prophets to the brain cell
While I bid you all a farewell

    The Green Fields of France

Well how do you do, Private William McBride
Do you mind if I sit here down by your grave side?
A rest for awhile in the warm summer sun,
I've been walking all day and I'm nearly done.
And I see by your gravestone that you were only 19
when you joined the glorious fallen in 1916.
Well, I hope you died quick and I hope you died clean
Or, William McBride, was it slow and obscene?

    CHORUS:
Did they beat the drum slowly?
did they sound the pipes lowly?
Did the rifles fire o'er ye as they lowered you down?
Did the bugle sing 'The Last Post' in chorus?
Did the pipes play 'The Flowers o' the Forest'?

And did you leave a wife or a sweetheart behind?
In some loyal heart is your memory enshrined
And though you died back in 1916
To that loyal heart are you always 19.
Or are you just a stranger without even a name
    Forever enclosed behind some glass-pane
In an old photograph torn and tattered and stained
And fading to yellow in a brown leather frame?

Well, the sun it shines down on these green fields of France,
The warm wind blows gently and the red poppies dance.
The trenches are vanished now under the plough
No gas, no barbed wire, no guns firing now.
But here in this graveyard it is still No Man's Land
And the countless white crosses in mute witness stand.
To man's blind indifference to his fellow man
And a whole generation that was butchered and downed.

And I can't help but wonder now Willie McBride
Do all those who lie here know why they died?
Did you really believe them when they told you the cause?
Did you really believe them that this war would end war?
The suffering, the sorrow, some the glory, the shame -
The killing and dying - it was all done in vain.
For Willie McBride, it's all happened again
And again, and again, and again, and again.

Did they beat the drum slowly?
did they sound the pipe lowly?
Did the rifles fire o'er ye as they lowered you down?
Did the bugle sing 'The Last Post' in chorus?
Did the pipes play 'The Flowers o' the Forest'?

    Hear this song here.

Creepy that I was going to post George lyrics, then I see this:
We lost George Harrison, John Paul and June Carter-Cash
    hmm, anyways.....

    Any Road:
Oh I've been traveling on a boat and a plane
In a car on a bike with a bus and a train
    Traveling there and traveling here
    Everywhere in every gear

But oh Lord we pay the price with a
Spin of a wheel - with a roll of a dice
Ah yeah you pay your fare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

And I've been traveling through the dirt and the grime
From the past to the future through the space and the time
Traveling deep beneath the waves - in
    watery grottoes and mountainous caves

But oh Lord we've got to fight
With the thoughts in the head with the dark and the light
No use to stop and stare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

You may not known where you came from
May not know who you are
May not have even wondered how
    you got this far

I've been traveling on a wing and a prayer
By the skin of my teeth by the breath of a hair
Traveling where the four winds blow
With the sun on my face - in the ice
    and the snow

    But oooeeee it's a game
    Sometimes you're cool, sometimes
    you're lame
    Ah yeah it's somewhere
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

But oh Lord we pay the price
With the spin of the wheel with the roll of
    the dice
Ah yeah, you pay your fare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

I keep traveling around the bend
There was no beginning, there is no end
It wasn't born and never dies
There are no edges, there is no size
Oh yeah, you just don't win
It's so far out - the way out is in
Bow to God and call him Sir

    Live like you were dying
    by Tim McGraw

He said I was in my early forties
with a lot of life before me
when a moment came that stopped me on a dime
and I spent most of the next days
    looking at the x-rays
    Talking bout the options
    and talking bout sweet time
I asked him when it sank in
that this might really be the real end
how?s it hit you when you get that kinda news
    man what?d you do

    and he said
    I went sky diving
    I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

He said I was finally the husband
that most the time I wasn?t
and I became a friend a friend would like to have
and all the sudden going fishin
    wasn?t such an imposition
and I went three times that year I lost my dad
well I finally read the good book
and I took a good long hard look
at what I?d do if I could do it all again

    and then
    I went sky diving
    I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

Like tomorrow was a gift and you got eternity to think about
what?d you do with it what did you do with it
what did I do with it
what would I do with it?

    Sky diving
    I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and then I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I watched an eagle as it was flying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying

All Those Years Ago - George Harrison
    -----------------------------
    I'm shouting all about love
While they treated you like a dog
When you were the one who had made it so clear
    All those years ago

I'm talking all about how to give
They don't act with much honesty
But you point the way to the truth when you say
    "All you need is love"

    Living with good and bad
I always looked up to you
Now we're left cold and sad
By someone, the devil's best friend
    Someone who offended all

We're living in a bad dream
    They've forgotten all about mankind
And you were the one they backed up to the wall
    All those years ago
You were the one who imagined it all
    All those years ago..

    (All those years ago)

    (All those years ago)

    Deep in the darkest night
I send out a prayer to you
Now in the world of light
Where the spirit free of lies
And all else that we despised

    They've forgotten all about God
He's the only reason we exist
Yet you were the one that they said was so weird
    All those years ago
You said it all though not many had ears
    All those years ago
You had control of our smiles and our tears
    All those years ago..

    All those years ago ...

    All those years ago ...

    All those years ago ...

Love In Vain- The Rolling Stones

Well, I followed her to the station with a suitcase in my hand,
Yeah, I followed her to the station with a suitcase in my hand,
Well, its hard to tell, its hard to tell, but all true loves in vain.
When the train come in the station I looked her in the eye,
Well, the train come in the station I looked her in the eye,
Well, I felt so sad and lonesome that I could not help but cry.
When the train left the station, it had two lights on behind,
Yeah, the train left the station, it had two lights on behind,
Yeah, the train left the station, it had two lights on behind,
Well, the blue light was my baby and the red light was my mind.
    All my loves in vain.
All, all my loves in vain.

    Bob Dylan's Hurricane

Pistol shots ring out in the barroom night
Enter Patty Valentine from the upper hall.
She sees the bartender in a pool of blood,
Cries out, "My God, they killed them all!"
Here comes the story of the Hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin' that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
    The champion of the world.

Three bodies lyin' there does Patty see
And another man named Bello, movin' around mysteriously.
"I didn't do it," he says, and he throws up his hands
"I was only robbin' the register, I hope you understand.
I saw them leavin'," he says, and he stops
"One of us had better call up the cops."
And so Patty calls the cops
And they arrive on the scene with their red lights flashin'
In the hot New Jersey night.

Meanwhile, far away in another part of town
Rubin Carter and a couple of friends are drivin' around.
Number one contender for the middleweight crown
Had no idea what kinda **** was about to go down
When a cop pulled him over to the side of the road
Just like the time before and the time before that.
In Paterson that's just the way things go.
If you're black you might as well not show up on the street
'Less you wanna draw the heat.

Alfred Bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops.
Him and Arthur Dexter Bradley were just out prowlin' around
He said, "I saw two men runnin' out, they looked like middleweights
They jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates."
And Miss Patty Valentine just nodded her head.
Cop said, "Wait a minute, boys, this one's not dead"
So they took him to the infirmary
And though this man could hardly see
They told him that he could identify the guilty men.

Four in the mornin' and they haul Rubin in,
Take him to the hospital and they bring him upstairs.
The wounded man looks up through his one dyin' eye
Says, "Wha'd you bring him in here for? He ain't the guy!"
Yes, here's the story of the Hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin' that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
    The champion of the world.

Four months later, the ghettos are in flame,
Rubin's in South America, fightin' for his name
While Arthur Dexter Bradley's still in the robbery game
And the cops are puttin' the screws to him, lookin' for somebody to blame.
"Remember that murder that happened in a bar?"
"Remember you said you saw the getaway car?"
"You think you'd like to play ball with the law?"
"Think it might-a been that fighter that you saw runnin' that night?"
"Don't forget that you are white."

Arthur Dexter Bradley said, "I'm really not sure."
Cops said, "A poor boy like you could use a break
We got you for the motel job and we're talkin' to your friend Bello
Now you don't wanta have to go back to jail, be a nice fellow.
You'll be doin' society a favor.
That sonofa***** is brave and gettin' braver.
We want to put his ass in stir
We want to pin this triple murder on him
    He ain't no Gentleman Jim."

Rubin could take a man out with just one punch
But he never did like to talk about it all that much.
It's my work, he'd say, and I do it for pay
And when it's over I'd just as soon go on my way
    Up to some paradise
Where the trout streams flow and the air is nice
And ride a horse along a trail.
But then they took him to the jailhouse
Where they try to turn a man into a mouse.

All of Rubin's cards were marked in advance
The trial was a pig-circus, he never had a chance.
The judge made Rubin's witnesses drunkards from the slums
To the white folks who watched he was a revolutionary bum
And to the black folks he was just a crazy ******.
No one doubted that he pulled the trigger.
And though they could not produce the gun,
The D.A. said he was the one who did the deed
    And the all-white jury agreed.

    Rubin Carter was falsely tried.
The crime was murder "one," guess who testified?
Bello and Bradley and they both baldly lied
And the newspapers, they all went along for the ride.
How can the life of such a man
Be in the palm of some fool's hand?
    To see him obviously framed
Couldn't help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land
    Where justice is a game.

Now all the criminals in their coats and their ties
Are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise
While Rubin sits like Buddha in a ten-foot cell
An innocent man in a living hell.
That's the story of the Hurricane,
But it won't be over till they clear his name
And give him back the time he's done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
    The champion of the world.

    "The Taliban Song"

    "I'm just a middle-aged, middle-eastern camel herdin' man
I got a little, 2 bedroom cave here in North Afghanistan
Things used to be real nice and they got out of hand when they moved in
    They call themselves the Taliban
(ooooo yeah the taliban) (taliban baby)

Now I ain't seen my wife's face since they came here
They make her wear a scarf over her head that covers her from ear to ear
She loves the desert and the hot white sand
But man she's just like me, nah she can't stand
    The Taliban (ooo taliban baby)

You know someday soon we're both gonna saddle up and it'll be
    Ride Camel Ride
My old lady she'll be here with me, smilin right by my side
We should do just fine out around Palestine or maybe Turkmenistan
We'll bid a fair adieu and flip the finger to the Taliban
    (oh yeah the taliban) (baby)

I know where you comin from brother!
This is a patriotic love song
So y'all feel free to salute if you want,
    You got my permission.

Now they attacked New York City cause they thought they could win
Said they would, stand and fight until the very bloody end
Mr Bush got on the phone with Iraq and Iran and said "Now, you
sons-of-*****es you better not be doin any business with the taliban"
    (Taliban baby)

So we prayed to Allah with all of our might
Until those big U.S. jets came flyin one night
They dropped little bombs all over their holy land
And man you should have seen em run like rabbits, they ran
    (the taliban)

You know someday soon we're both gonna saddle up and it'll be
    Ride Camel Ride
My old lady she'll be here with me, smilin right by my side
We should do real fine out around Palestine or maybe Turkmenistan
We'll bid a fair adieu and flip a couple fingers to the Taliban
    (oh yeah, taliban)
we'll bid a fair adieu and flip a big boner to The Taliban (baby)"

    Drug or Jesus
    Tim McGraw

    In my home town
    For anyone who sticks around
You're either lost or you're found
    There's not much in between
    In my home town
    Everything's still black and white
It's a long, long way from wrong to right
From Sunday morning to Saturday night

Everybody just wants to get high
Sit and watch a perfect world go by
We're all looking for love and meaning in our lives
We follow the roads that lead us
    To drugs or Jesus

    My whole life
I've tried to run, I've tried to hide
From the stained glass windows in my mind
Refusing to let God's light shine
    Down on me
    Down on me

Everybody just wants to get high
Sit and watch a perfect world go by
We're all looking for love and meaning in our lives
There's not much space between us
    Drugs or Jesus

    Everybody wants acceptance
We all just want some proof
Everyone's just looking for the truth

Everybody just wants to get high
Sit and watch a perfect world go by
We're all looking for love and meaning in our lives
We follow the roads that lead us
    To drugs or Jesus
    To drugs or Jesus
    Oh I need you Jesus
    Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
    Hallelujah

    Be Thou my Vision

    Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

    Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
    I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
    Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

    Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
    Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
    May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

God I love this next song, makes me remember my childhood... damn power rangers

Free Ride - Edgar Winters Group
The mountain is high, the valley is low
And you're confused 'bout which way to go
So I flew here to give you a hand
And lead you into the promised land

So, come on and take a free ride (free ride)
Come on and take it by my side
Come on and take a free ride

All over the country, I'm seeing the same
Nobody's winning, at this kind of game
We gotta do better, it's time to begin
    You know all the answers
    Must come from within

So, come on and take a free ride (free ride)
Come on and take it by my side
Come on and take a free ride

    Yeah, yeah, yeah

    [Instrumental Interlude]

    Free ride

Come on and take a free ride
    Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Come on and take a free ride
    Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Come on and take a free ride
    Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Come on and take a free ride
    Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

    Belleau Wood
    by Garth Brooks

Oh, the snowflakes fell in silence
    Over Belleau Wood that night
For a Christmas truce had been declared
By both sides of the fight
As we lay there in our trenches
    The silence broke in two
    By a German soldier singing
A song that we all knew

Though I did not know the language
    The song was "Silent Night"

Then I heard my buddy whisper,
"All is calm and all is bright"
Then the fear and doubt surrounded me
'Cause I'd die if I was wrong
But I stood up in my trench
And I began to sing along

    Then across the frozen battlefield
    Another's voice joined in
Until one by one each man became
    A singer of the hymn

Then I thought that I was dreaming
For right there in my sight
    Stood the German soldier
'Neath the falling flakes of white
And he raised his hand and smiled at me
As if he seemed to say
    Here's hoping we both live
To see us find a better way

Then the devil's clock struck midnight
And the skies lit up again
And the battlefield where heaven stood
    Was blown to hell again

But for just one fleeting moment
    The answer seemed so clear
    Heaven's not beyond the clouds
    It's just beyond the fear

No, heaven's not beyond the clouds
It's for us to find it here

    "Minerva"

    I get all...numb
    When she sings it's over
    Such a strange numb
And it brings my knees to the earth

    And God bless you all
For the song you saved us...

    You're the same...numb
    When you sing it's over
    Such a strange numb
It could bring back peace to the earth

    So God bless you all
For the song you saved us...oh...
For the hearts you break, everytime you moan...

    I get all...numb
    We're the same numb
And it brings our knees to the earth

    So God bless you all
For the song you saved us..oh...
For the hearts you break, everytime you moan
And God bless you all on the earth...
