How to get rid of bad traits

Hi LOTR total war fans,

On my Gondor campaign, I have Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli stationed in Cair-Andros with a 'Great Fountain of Healing' I then realise that Aragorn possesses the trait, 'Deathly ill' I am not sure if this is supposed to happen, but I thought if he is in a city that has the best fountain of healing possible, I thought he would have been up and going the next turn. He has been like that for at least 30 turns and I cannot let him engage in battle for I fear for his life. Can anyone possibly lend a hand and advise me on how I can be rid of this trait? (Prefrebly not by cheats as I understand it messes with the scripits, but if it must resort to that, then so be it).

It seems those traits related to wounds and healing are not working well. Last time that I tried to readjust the triggers, I introduced a weird CTD that the Traits validators did not detect... and I have been afraid to mod the traits since them.
If I remember, you can use these cheats:
give_trait_points Aragorn Healed 5
give_trait_points Aragorn LightHealed 5
give_trait_points Aragorn Rested 5

When I enter those commands, it replies to me by saying,

'err: Character not found' do you guys think you can lend me a hand on that too?

If you play with Gondor than it is Aragorn_g /it is also for Gimli and Legolas/ and when you play with Rohan than it is Aragorn_r

No, it's the name with which you have to replace the "Aragorn" in

give_trait Aragorn Healed 5
give_trait Aragorn LightHealed 5
give_trait Aragorn Rested 5
