LOTR TW Idiots Guide...anyone?...please??

Hello all...try as I might I cannot get the LOTR to work...best I can get is failure owing to mss32.dll file problem...'try re-installing'. I have no experience of using a mod but the LOTR really appealed. Is there a small step by small step guide as I would love to play the game, but would also like to see my children grow up. I have RTW (v1.5), RTW:BI & RTW:A installed. The only thing I can see that might be causing a problem is that the Target file is C:\Documents and Settings\new user [name of my PC]\Desktop\RomeTW-ALX.exe, which isn't much like the path name indicated in the best instructions I can find. Please help someone...spent so long trying to get this thing to work!!

Just make sure that you're installing it on the right folder, it has to be the same folder all RTW files are, if it's not the predetermined path, edit it so it is...
