    Default Austrian unit packs

We have released a couple of weeks ago the Austrian pack for Masters of Europe.

If you want to use them, you can either use the full mod, or you could also take benefits of our modular approach and use, together or separately:
    - The textures (atlas files)
    - The icons
    - The variants
    - The unit parts (new helmet for exemple).

We have included two periods for Austria : 1805-1808 and 18091815. We have also "occupied" version of the uniforms (not completly historical but "history-friendly", for units recruited in Austria by another faction), and what-if uniforms for Hungarian emergent.

Go here to access Masters of Europe subsection and get more information

Here is what you can get in the pack.

Excellent work Steph! Everything from unit cards to the units themselves is immaculate.

How do I get it to work? I tried installing just the Austrian units as you said it's modular but they don't show up in my game at all.

You can either install the full mod and get all the units, or integrate them in another mod. The stats from MoE are different from the vanilla game, si you can not just add the new units

So if you want to use them, the simplest solution is just to edit the uniform table, and for austrian units to reference the new uniforms.
For example, if the uniform table says that for austria, the Line_Infantry uses austria_Line_Infantry uniform, replace it with austria_MoE_1_Line_Infantry, and you'll get it.

If you want new units, you'll have to add them to your units table, or use another mod which add units.

    Consider this is "uniform resources".

It is modular in the sense that if you just want to use the Austrian uniforms from MoE you can grab this pack only, not use the Russians pack, or the main pack, and link the vanilla game or other unit packs with the new uniforms.

    As the opening post says,

"If you want to use them, you can either use the full mod, or you could also take benefits of our modular approach and use, together or separately:
    - The textures (atlas files)
    - The icons
    - The variants
    - The unit parts (new helmet for exemple)."

It says you can use the texture / icons / variants for your own mod if you want, it doesn't say it will add new units.

Oooh I see, my apologies for misunderstanding. And thank you for telling me how to do that. Your mod looks very good so far, but I would love to be able to play early war Austrians in a campaign, hence my wanting just the uniforms for now. Good luck with the completion of your mod, sir.

Hello Steph! Is it compatible with LME?

It is compatible with anything you want since if you use the modular approach: grab the MoE_Austria_ pacj (UI, variants and texture) + UnitParts to get the helmet, and then you can link our uniforms to any mod (you'll need to edit the uniform table).
However, this won't add new units: for that you need
    - To use our uniforms to replace uniforms for units added by another mod
    - To add new units yourself
    - or to use the full MoE mod, and then there is no guaranteed compatibility with LME.
