The 66BC CTD? I am not familiar with it, though that could be easily remedied by changing the dates to avoid 66BC.

The mod has a 4TPY script. That's lots of time. If you wish for more I can easily extent it. Personally I have never played 'indefinately' since eventually you will conquer every last piece of land and there will simply be no point to playing. Better to start a new campaign.

    AFAIK - NO.
This mod starts de facto in 14 AD, so after 66 BC
It has script that rename date to 302 BC, but in fact all dates are from the start in AD.
So, there will be no CTD, because of this vanilla bug.

I don't see any script changing the date. From descr_strat.txt:

    start_date -300 summer
    end_date 14 summer

Which means in 66-69BC it will start crashing.

Hi dvk, yes I was saying that the script extended the number of turns to nearly 1000 until that date. Which means not many people will need to worry about encountering it.

But, we've been discussing this issue and I think we will end up following something along the lines of Anarchon's suggestion of counting the years since Alexander the Great's death.

edit: also for those interested, life in general has been keeping me busy. Anarchon's still has had some time for the mod but since this is a two man project at the moment , it's still needing some work done before release.

I seriously wonder what does the 66BC thing do. I've never played that far in RTW.
