    Icon3 [SUBMOD] 3.5 Open Beta - Workshop -

NOTE: Chief's compilation is finished and now this thread will be used for support of 3.5

This thread will serve to gather proposals for smaller changes, improvements, fixes and user's wishes!

    Features

    • Smaller changes can be made without update of 3.5 (for example, small fixes...)
    • Smaller changes can be made independently (for example, different or other bayonets...)
    • Here the user can express his ideas (for example, for future patches, updates, versions or the workshop...)
    • Here the user can express his wishes (maybe there comes the Santa Claus and fulfils some wishes or our ACW team...)
    • The ACW team and the users support each-other (dynamic system...)
    • We can offer our changes - if they are no secret - and the user can test them (problems are faster recognised and can be solved...)
    • By the number of downloads we can determine if changes are good or bad (for example, for future patches, updates, versions...)

Here is an idea, make it compatible with regular ETW, not just Warpath

This sounds as if you are disappointed very much Ok, we are in the beta for 3.5 Warpath. We work daily on 3.5 and still have a lot of work. This costs a lot of (real) time. One should consider this! Your idea is rather a statement. Most submods are offered only for Warpath. I understand this disturbs you and I am sorry. Maybe you should buy it. Warpath offers more advantages for everybody. This would be the best solution for the future. Please, do not misunderstand.

I will try to adopt the Open Beta 3.5 for RTI campaign also, but you should consider acquiring warpath (In Europe it sots less that 3 Euros now, was 2,80 Euros last time I checked). also, the campaign map of the rti will mean that recruitment capabilities of the cities will be really crowded. If anything works as it should, and I get some confirmations I need, RTI should be up in a matter of days.

    regards,

    MM

    To the community

Does anyone have interest in a higher general staff? I've been playing a long time with 60 soldiers (medium unit size). The result is very good.

    Review

    • The player can use the general in the battle and make him stronger.
    • The values were lowered so that the general of the AI acts defensively.
    • The general is now a weaker combat unit.
    • You can improve the character because they can be active in the battle.
    • The general can force troops with weak morals to retreat.
    • The general can kill more troops in retreat.
    • This allows the generals expand skills.
    • The general can give an army a higher morale bonus (maybe 10-30%).
    • Therefore, the units have stronger morals in the battle.
    • Experienced units have very high morale.
    • The general can support troops.
    • The general can attack the flank.
    • The general can not fight alone against a regiment of infantry or cavalry.
    • The general is more important than ever!
