    and give them bow + sword and fitting stats, so that they are similar, but still a bit inferior to the Imladris / Mithlond sentinels? I think such units would make great (on the spot retrainable!) border garrisons
    yes, I could indeed do that, maybe make them as mercs for the good factions as well and also I was thinking I could give the southrons some heavy spearman as well but I won't start doing the extra work until the new update is fully finished.

    Of course, it's all up to you^^ I for myself have another reason to look forward to 3.0 now

    It should be. The only issue that might arise is deleting the map.rwm which always causes problems.

    Btw, how would you get the kingsguard units into your army? If I read it right that they are not recruitable...
    A little question abroad, I have only very less (with a tendence to no) knowledge of R:TW modding, but I'm wondering why you had to edit descr_regions and descr_strat?

    -The Kingsguard should have a chance to appear when you get a new general, They are tagged as General_unit in the Export_descr_unit (although I haven't tested it)
    - I needed to edit the regions.txt to make the Goblins of Gundabad only recruitable in Gundabad. as for the descr_strat I was going to change the default bodyguards of the noldor's starting generals but decided not to. you could probably delete it but I wouldn't in case there is something I forgot.
