(Etw) Favorite Faction?

Hi there, I've been looking at this forum and I didn't notice a topic like this before.
So, as the title says, what's your favorite faction to play with?
I've included minor factions too, as most of twcenter member's own Darthmod.
I hope the poll-system is working, as I'm still a new young member.

Well, this a difficult one!
The first faction is really enjoy playing with is France, because they start off really awesome. Their units are awesome too. What I also like about France is that they also have a good start-off in America, from which you can easily conquer the rest of America. Their economics are nice as well.
The second faction I like to play with is the United Provinces, mainly because they start off in Europe, America and India as well. I also really like the VOC-units and the fact that they're a republic. (Mostly I play with absolute monarchies.)
But I think the faction I enjoy playing the most is Prussia! They are really challenging because they don't have that much regions, but have potential enemies everywhere. I also like their units, and the fact that their regions are divided by Poland-Lithuania makes it even more challenging. Also, you need to focus only on Europe in the beginning, which makes it different and fun to play for me. At last they also don't have the best economics in the beginning of the game, because they only have one port. However, when you conquer some new regions or build some new ports, their economics start to get better.

So, that were my favourite factions... I'd like to see what yours are!

Mine is also Prussia, it's just awesome to play with, I just hoped more people should reply and vote instead of just vote

Do not have tried all factions yet but voted for France as it has most interesting campaign I have tried yet. Other interesting factions are either too Europe-centred (Sweeden, Austria, Prusia) or too isolated and overpowered (Great Britain) or simply their power was too much in decline during the games timeframe (Spain, United-Province, Poland-Lithuania). Have not played any minor faction yet but from them Danemark seems to be the most interesting for me.

Denmark? Nope, I've tried it, and for me it was really boring... You need to upgrade everything yet, you don't have good economics and Sweden is always in for a war, which is kinda annoying because you can't build up your army that quickly because of your lack of good economics...

I like Sweden. But I have to admit I have only played the complete campaign with the Dutch and Sweden...

i like Portugal..because they have Important points of commerce,like,Coast of Brazil and Ivory Coast..beyond the region of "Goa" in India (thanks a lot Vasco da Gama )that produces tea..
beyond the fleets are great,formed by good admirals.And they can recruit "Miquelet",a good light infantry.
with all this,you can expand your domains by India and America more easily...

Fance is the most easy of them all, but the Ottomans is the most fun since you fight many wars and have crap units, you have to build up the economy.

I like to play as Russia because they have ready access to both Europe and India. They also have the hand mortar unit that is really useful in siege battles and putting them behind the battle line since they fire above your troops.
My second favorite is Prussia because they have this history of being great soldiers and they start with one of their traditional regions conquered that makes it more personal to liberate the area

I think so, it gets a better foothold in America with good trade recources.

Absurdity, the French position in North America is deceptively weak.

Once Britain gets the Thirteen Colonies, they have considerably more regions than the French do, and then proceed to greatly outrecruit France in the North American theatre.

Britain gets a strong navy, better colonies in the long run, has the protection of the sea from enemies attacking it, good relations with practically every European country bar France, the list goes on. Britain is by far the easiest start.

In my previous France campaign- I got totally raped in America ánd in Europe.

For my campaigns, I had a lot of fun with Poland, France, and Spain, and Marathas; although I still should do an Ottoman campaign (If i can get past the horrible AI).

In multiplayer, Sweden's cav just suits my play style; it's what I think Poland should have, for cavalry.

Hmmm... Haven't played Poland a lot yet. I like Prussia better!

i played with the Commonwealth too and still play with they..the campaign with poland is good,but you have very problems with the nations which border,like Prussia,Sweden,Ottoman Empire and believe it or not,France and Spain.
But the nation that cause more problems to you is Prussia.They're a machine of war !
is very probable you lose your capital to they in early game...
the war in Balkans is very easy,but the more difficult is do commerce by maritime routes and CREATE A FLEET...that's a great problem in game with Poland...
I think the second faction more easy to play(the 1st is GB) is Russia,because the wars in which you are already involved are not very difficult to win,ie,you create your war of their own volition.

When I took Crimea, Great Britain asked me to exchange the Bahamas for Karelia + trade agreement.
Then, I just kept recruiting at the places I conquered, i walked from the Bahamas to Cuba, the Pirate-Islands -> Middle America, crushing the Spanish.
I walked next to the 13 colonies 'till Iruqoius territory (or so) when I couldn't get any further.
I went to take a foothold in Europe again (I had just Russia), conquering Sweden, Austria and Prussia.

It indeed isn't really that difficult to take over America, when your economics are good and you just have to build some stacks!

one thing that surprised me.i played with Huron(an indigenous nation)and by the long of the campaign,i realized they have a good economy and can build a great future in America,or who knows,in Europe.
then I noticed that my campaign with the Indians was better than with the "civilized" (Europeans)...
