Please follow the following install instructions:
1. Install Rome Total War
3. Patch to RTW Version 1.3
4. Patch to RTW Version 1.5
5. Download Rome Total Realism Platinum Edition Full Installer - RTRPE Full (vs 1.4) from one of these 3 links(choose one):

6a. Download and install the RTR Platinum v1.6 Patch.

Just to let you know, the RTW upgrade method is:
1.0
1.3
1.5
RTRPE 1.4
RTRPE 1.6 patch

You no longer need to even touch RTW 1.2. That was superseeded by RTW 1.3.

I have the Metropolis/Naval Mod Add-On to Platinum...will the Mauryan mod work with this? If so, how do I install?

well the mauryan faction has replaced brutii faction hence there will be no change of game play play at alll
it is kind of patch rather than a mod which adds does not replaces

I also saw that Res Gestae and i think another mod too are including Mauryans too.

It's really up to responsible modders to tone down the eurocentric CA approach to RTW and MTW2.

well my mod is just to ease the pain which is caused by waiting for ambitious projects like

age of darkness
which have indian faction so that we can crush the enemies with our massive elephants

P.S - Did the mauryans have phalanx formation spearmen ? Its unlikely , but u know greek influence may have caused it . GR8 SKINS BY TEH WAY HUH !

well indians dint had phalaxes but as i told about the movie
there are shown spearmen standing in a perticular order to stimulate that orde i gave them something like phalaxes but removed the ability to phalax and give them short
spears

The "phalanx" formations go clear back to Ur, the Greeks did not "invent" it, just that they made most famous.

it is not that they are being eurocentric. the name is Rome Total War, right? not World Total War. it is nice, however, that there are mods out there to include other cultures other than just european ones. i don't think you can fault CA for that at all, or mod developers, as they are expanding on the game to include more factions/cultures.
