    Icon4 Japan Units bug/problem?

    Whenever i use Japan and after i get gunpowder i check to see what buildings i need to create to get Muskets, but there are no buildings i see that can make Tanegashima units or any buildings that make Katana samurai. Is this a bug or do i need to do something else?

    I believe there are certain events built into the campaign that have to happen before Japan can have muskets (some kind of exposure to western cultures in a certain year I think).

    You need to wait the event that says that portuguese arrived in Japan, or if they are dead you have to wait longer.
