Well, I'd like to start modding, I did a bit for Skyrim and Oblivion (completely irrelevant but, meh. ) but I'd really like to get started on total war, and I'm not talking about modding the whole engine ( improving AI, Realism) I just want to do basic skin re-textures and implement thing into my copy of the game. I own all the total wars but i'd most like to mod Napoleon/Empire.
If you could give me some advice on modding tools and software to use for re-textures - no need for tutorials with the software.
