What is your opinion on releasing a custom battle (possibly historical battles as well) and updating with new factions/additions? Please comment and let us know

No, just until we can get the grand campaign released

If you release it I will certainly try it and therefore I voted yes. However, nothing could compare playing finished and stable campaign offcourse

Voted no, better to focus on the campaign as i think it is the mos timortant. But if you release a custom battles mod polish it well, as it will cater peoples opinion about the game

No actually. Otherwise I'd just test all units in one bigass battle, and get bored with them afterwards.

You both make very good points. What if only a few historical battles were released? (e.g. one or two very important battles, such as the battle of Clontarf or other very important battles of the time period) Sort of as a preview to the mod itself.

it would be epic if we could get Heathen on one side and PrinceOfMacedon on other side for commentary battle

I went with no. Ive never gotten a custom battle mod, I dont play custom battle very much XD Usually just to test units or see the roster for a faction

That said though, its a conditional no..if making a custom battle demo wouldnt interfer with the big release any, do it
