    Default Development preview of Wurttemberg

Since Wurttemberg is the first faction I'm working on since the hosted subforum was created, it will be the first to start the development preview serie.

1805 foot artillery, with a new helmet. The plate is not correct yet.

    Here is a reference picture

1805 foot musketeer. The belt is missing, and the helmet plate will be redone.

New helmet, new coat, which is quite unique.

Well, ArtStudio his not working for MoE, and last time I checked there were some copyright issues with his work. Perhaps he is making everything himself now, but when I tried to contact him weeks ago, his answer where rather short.
I suspect his English skills are not very good and it's hard for him to communicate.

Artstudio's work doesn't look as near as good as Steph's and L'Aigles, I say they do their own It's much better.

PS. The belts models on those Württemberg line infantry are from the Mount & Blade Napoleonic Wars game (easily recognisable from anywhere), so yeah, he has broken copyright law. Plus, the coat looks like it has been draw on with a pencil by a 5 year old, and the helmet plate looks like it has been simply copied and pasted there from a photo without any additional editing.

Beside, it doesn't have the correct shape, like no crest below the caterpillar

    Yeah, they just plainly suck.

Steph, can you please put his pictures in a spoiler? Just so people don't get the wrong idea and think it's your work.

I don't know what's making me happiest: that a minor faction is given some quality attention, or that someone finally managed to spell "Württemberg" correctly on these forums.

Very glad to see some proper south German helmets start to come in. Your guy's work never fails to impress.

Steph, could you be able to change the emblem of both helmets and make it as a circle just like the reference pictures? just to differentiate them from the austrian, hungarian and emergent german factions ones. I noticed those got plumes on the left side of the helmets of different colours of course each, those will not be added?

This was just an early test to get the shape of the helmet. I'll come back to Württemberg once we have release Prussia and Bavaria, and the texture will of course incude the proper front plate, not just a simple circle. And I'll also take care of the plumes. All in due time.

New screen with the fusilier. I redid the helmet, using the Russian fancy as a base instead of the Austrian.

It's easier to have a non symetrical front plate then. And they look OK from the side. Probably not 100% accurate, but I suppose good enough without creating a real new mesh.
