you got a good pic or colour example of the serbian infantry?
also, are there special colours for the collars and branches or sleeves?
same for cavalry

The Serb Infantry is simple
Blue Sajkaca hat (yeah you know the blue color, the classic blue color, maybe a liiiiiiiiiiil bit dark)
Brown Tunic (the collar and branch usually have a red color, usually)
Blue pants, same color with sajkaca hat
Boots
The cavalry... well... lemme see
The 1869 uniform applies for cavalry as well as infantry as you can see.... BUT, BUT....
In 1878 it was already replaced with this uniform, so cavalry and infantry actually ended up having a different uniform. For a short period.
This is a Serbian Lancer Horseman, special type of cavalry.
Anyways, the way i see it you can do two things: 1) keep the same model for cavalry and infantry. 2) put the new type cavalry for Serbia and keep infantry in the 69 uniform. The Lancers remained the same until the switch to the 20th century blue-red uniform (which reminds me, apparently the maroon color for the Serbian early infantry doesnt fit, and i am very sorry but you need to turn it into red again..... sorry)

Well... practically, the only way to have absolutely every detail of the uniforms available to us, is to go to military museums with a history student ID and hope that they will show us everything we want. Not everything is on the internet.
But dont make the blue for the Serbians THAT bright. Grey-fy it and darken it a sliiiiiight bit. It will be perfect otherwise. And le screenshots.
i took the colour sample from the TWTEAW cavalry. But dont make the blue for the Serbians THAT bright. Grey-fy it and darken it a sliiiiiight bit. It will be perfect otherwise
so the cav and lancer use french kepis? or is the lancer one even straighter?

Concerning the zuaves : I do not have any further information about them. Yet it looks like their uniforms did not change.
Needs confirmation !

You know wrong xD
As I am an expert in Montenegrin history in the 19th Century, to be more precise 1796-end of WW2, Montenegro itself did have elite fully equipped units serving in its military 1850s-est , the Montenegrin army was much more elite than the Serbians, even though Serbia was much much better equipped.
Montenegro had 2 special "regiments"
-The "Garda" (Guards batallion)
-"Perjanici" (Usually were the policing unit of the Montenegrin army, elites)
They were fully uniformed up to that day modern standards, I'll post more data later as I gotta go.

Yes, i am sure you have info AND uniforms and they were some awesome and hardcore sons of a gun. Where is the info? Where is the unit description? Theeee photos maybe? Or some of painting or pictures?
Yes i thought so.
If you are talking about these guys....
That's precisely what i've shown PM as a Montenegrin unit. That does not make them a uniformal, "elite" unit. Elite from what? Extensive drills and war? They were more police officers than soldiers. What was elite in them?

Haha, thanks, I've done finding and compiling them into good data
I too can send some more info about the uniforms like a resevists batallion uniform ( old 1850s uniforms from the era of Danilo I ) or militias if you wanna create another nation, which itself on creation would not be so much work
There's 5 "units" from Montenegro
-Montenegrin general staff ("Generalštab")
-Guards ( "Garda" )
-Mobilised elite police ("Perjanici")
-Artillery (Artiljerija) // 75mm artillery, fine pieces
////GARDA - Guards batallion - Elite Infantry
*Notes
-Never retreats
-Elite at melee and shooting
-Pretty mobile
-Max 3 in a battle
Spoiler for "Garda" infantry:
Spoiler for "Garda" officer:
///// PERJANICI / Elite Police - Elite Skrimishers
*Notes
-Retreats only after really hard losses
-Elite in melee, one of the best
-Shooting is less accurate, but they reload it faster than most units
-Highly mobile
-Max 10 in a battle
Spoiler for Perjanik (<singular of Perjanici) infantryman:
Spoiler for Perjanik Colonel:
//// Generalštab /General Staff - Commanders
*Notes
- In the Serbian ( if Montenegro isn't independant) roster, it is considered like general's bodyguard
- Strong effect on enemy troops, lowers their morale
- Max 2 in a battle
Spoiler for Main general:
Spoiler for Other members of the General Staff:
That is all If you will include Montenegro as a seperate state, I can give you more info with detailed pics such as reserve infantry and militia so that you can make more units
Those are normal police officers
