Imposible is Nothing.
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

Hah, fittingly ESPN is losing their damn minds over this.

Hi, everyone I knew here. And the rest, of course.
The situation with Pop is overblown on one side and kind of a dickish move on the other.
Yes, people paid money to see San Antonio once a season in their building. The very people who make those players' salaries real.
But it's up to him how to manage the team and if it wasn't for national televised game, Stern wouldn't be so riled up. The schedule is insane. What does he expect, the team manager risking injuries or resting his "not so young" stars?
He should have just put down the real reason like he did the other year with Duncan. DNP, Reason: Old

Yep, fining a team for making a strategic, smart move by resting veterans for big games. This is exactly what should be done in this situation!
Seriously, the phrasing used in the "reasoning" for the 250k fine including things like "timely" and "early season." These are both absurd as one is an abstract concept and the other seems to assume that games at this point in the season totally won't impact the league later on in the year. I'm, at best, a fringe NBA fan and this annoys me.
I think Stern and Bettman need to be locked into a room together for one month just to see who would drown in the other's first.
Pffft, back when the T-wolves sucked big time everyone rested their stars. I don't think Kobe Bryant played a single game here for four or five years straight. At least the Spurs sent them home so the fans knew what to expect instead of them having phantom injuries come game time and all sitting on the bench.
The NBA is a joke anyways....
Well, the Spurs just beat their main rival in the SW division in an OT thriller. Parker was flying all over the court and Duncan was playing like he was a young man again, so having them sit out during the Heat game seems like a solid move after all. Fining Pop for knowing how to coach his team is just utterly ridiculous.
and the Lakers lose to Orlando in LA............

Dwight needs to get rid of that ridiculous headband. That's why the Lakers are losing.

Yes. And maybe make a free throw or two. Why is he so ing happy about it?
we win one lose another, at this rate the lakers will end the season with a 41 - 41 record....

You just cant expect that he Lakers will win like 60 games, they have a lot of things against them.
Young inexperienced teams tend to blow big leads. The Bobcats just happened to blow 2 of them. Game was fun to watch though
I can't explain the reaction of everyone in the arena to this dunk
