Faction specific unit rosters

Hello, to those who have some experience with modding units I will be needing your help on this one. Have you come across a way of editing what units are available to what faction;

i.e. I want to remove all non monk & nun units from Uesugi or
Remove all non sword units from Date

Do you have any idea of how to achieve this;

There is a db table named "units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions". In that table you can allow or block units for certain factions. I think, I don't have time now for test it.
