BUM units - over 600 units for major & minor factions

Well, we needed 3 different hussards (one for each time period), so we used different regiments for more variations, and we picked this 3 as "representative".

So big question Sacrebleu: what is the time reference you are using for all your uniforms?

Long answer short, here are the rough guidelines for my choice of uniform:

1. Availability - Choice of units is subjected to what is available historically.
2. Balance - To increase units roll for factions like Mecklenburg with scarcely any references, all historical units between 1790 - 1815 are considered. I am aiming for 15 infantry units and 10 cavalry units for each faction.
3. Variety - Napoleonic warfare is colourful, and preference is given for the more colourful choice of unit when references are available. Generally speaking, units between 1790 - 1807 appears more colourful.
4. CA's design - CA couldn't be entirely faithful to historical periods. Complete revamp of NTW is not a realistic option for me, so I am sticking close to CA's design. Prussia, for example, has late period uniform and that remains unchanged in BUM.
5. Gameplay - Grand campaign starts 1805. So reference materials are mostly between 1790 - 1807.

Historical units went through changes in phases, so some units may still retain the bicorn or mirliton of the 1790s well into 1809.

I'm really looking forward to this mod. most unit mods just add a bunch of units to the main factions. It gets to the point where it's almost impossible to select the unit you want from custom battles. A couple units added to each minor faction is the way to go. It adds a lot of depth to the game as well. Great Work.
