    The remnant of the King's Men who survived in Middle-earth after the destruction of Númenor were called the Black Númenóreans since they worshipped Sauron and were "enamoured of evil knowledge". They worshipped Darkness, and believed that Melkor and Sauron were its most powerful servants. At the end of the Second Age two of their number, Herumor and Fuinur, became lords among the Haradrim, though what became of them is unknown.

    We're on the last pre-beta big hunts and stress-testing now, while we still develop some planned but not yet implemented feature of secret character (), so things go fine.
    A beta then? Months yet, but I've no doubts during the year (I won't make the blunder of promising to much this time )

    Still, why not just toss out a screen shot or two from a test campaign, where the player NK fight on the borders of Arnor against beastly foes:

    Many settlements were established during the Second Age that we know from the Third, so concerning those the answer is leaning toward a yes.
    It will not have any high prio for betas, since it's a matter of eye candy, but we will keep settlements from TATW, or replace them with leo's if those play better, or add leo's if there's none and we want it, but prio one will always be game play. If a custom map is pretty but unmanageable for tactics and battle, then we will use a generic settlement instead.

    Will there be several scripts you can choose between like in MOS? And have you already decided in which year the campaign will start? And one more question: Will you use the giant DaC map or the smaller one being included in MOS?

    Can't wait to play this great mod as the end of the Second Age is a great time period in the history of Middle-earth!

    No. There are only a couple of options at campaign start, and one of them is for NK players only.

    2980 SA from memory.

    It's the vanilla TATW map with some minor customisations.

    The campaign begin 3429 SA, 2980 (TA) is when TATW kick off so no wild guess however

    That year Sauron initiated the war through a surprise assault that captured Minas Ithil; and so our campaign begin, with M. Ithil in Mordor's grasp and the war initiated.
    Isildur went to Arnor to ask for aid, and in the following year 3430 the League that is remembered as the Last Alliance was formed when Elendil held council with Gil-galad.
    In 3431 the first armies marched east.
    These events will be given attention in different manners during the campaign.

    Will you also include some of the armor designs of the Hobbit movies? E.g., it is very likely that at the end of the Second Age the elves of Eryn Galen wore the same armors as in the Third Age.
