Hello CactusBack,
an honour for the team, to have your first post and such encouraging words
Well, let's make a little exception and share a news yet not publicly shared, hehe.
I don't know if you're familiar with the "barbarian village" from EB2? We use it in DCI:LA too, for the factions Wild Men of Enedwaith and Hill-men of the North and akin rebels.
The village is situated below a hill [as seen in screen shot below]. This make sense as people like to have shelter from winds, but it is a problem if you're attacked.
As many players found out, if you attacked, archers could step up the hill and rain down missiles on the defenders, who held the square, situated around the well in the middle of the village.
DCI have now updated the settlement, so the square is moved to the hill instead, by Withwnar, with their values in chests etc drawn up there, by xHolyCrusader.
Because, as soon as the villager militia and garrison got news of an approaching enemy, what would they do? Run to the hills, of course! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZlDZPYzfm4
It offers best possible natural defense for them, and chosing where to fight can make all the difference.
Houses may be rebuilt - but a dead man can build no houses.
