I mean, I'm playing Mount and Blade for 3 months and my character is at 80 level and I just wondered what is the maximum level of a charachter.

Not sure there really is a maximum.
2058 if you cheat with the 10k exp cheat once you get to like 60 ish, you jump to 2058, you still get more points if you keep going, but you it doesn't get higher.
Edit: In Warband it does this.

Do you prefer playing with your own faction as a noble or you create a commoner character and join another faction??
Holy moly, 80? My most played character is currently lvl 31, and I consider that a long campaign.
I think 81 is the max.. Not sure.. Could be I'm thinking about another game
tested 99 on NPC and it works, though its XP becomes negative (and then increase to 0+)
There is no limit but without cheating after lvl 64 it becomes almost impossible to level up. I am curious how you got 80 lvl...
I would love to see a video of that. I heard if you upped your Athletics enough you could jump over fort wall...
No it doesn't make you jump higher. You can however outrun horses. 800 or 1,000 is enough.
Oh I mistook Athletics for agility. Athletics is capped at 15 if you mod skills.txt (4 bits). But you can raise agility as high as you want by import/export character.
.
Actually no. Without cheating your strength/agility are capped at 63. strength=63 is only enough for fighting bandits and poor villagers. To destroy an army you need like 600~ with best armor, and mod a game setting so you wouldn't be interrupted by enemy attacks (try fighting dozens of spearmen or pikemen at once, even level 1000 cannot save you)
