    Icon1 Looking for work

    Hello, as the title suggests I am looking for work. I have experience editing stats for land units, buildings, naval units etc. I would like to join a modding team however I am happy to help individuals with their personal/small mods. Please post here or PM if you would like my services.

    Howzit. I am glad that you are of service. I have a unique request, not sure if it is possible. Can you at all make it possible for a country that is forced to move its capital (ie: home capital lost through warfare) have the option to have a rebellion in order to change its gov type? For instance I was playing as Scotland and I had pretty much taken over Northern Africa. England then invaded my scottish capital and took it. My new capital was tangiers, but I couldn't change government type as a rebellion would spawn natives, not scots.

    That would require Scotland to be emergent over the entire globe...a government changing revolution can only occur in regions where the faction involved can emerge. In the case of Scotland, it can only emerge (and so have a revolution) in Scotland.

    @OP it is probably easier if you take Scotland back.

    Yes, the only culture/ ethnic group that should emerge everywhere is the Irish. After all, on March 17 they seem to be everywhere ...

    I have a request also! I've been thinking about giving the line infantry swords when bajonets are not researched? Maybe even when plugbajonet is, but not used?

    You can define primary and secondary weapons in warscape_equipment_themes tables :
    <theme> : east_infantry
    <primary_weapon> : east_musket
    <secondary_weapon> : east_sword
    <ambient> : east_infantry_equipment
    or

    <theme> : euro_infantry
    <primary_weapon> : euro_musket
    <secondary_weapon> : euro_musket
    <ambient> : euro_infantry_equipment
    If you define a fire weapon such as euro_musket as secondary weapon, the unit will be able to use bayonet when this feature is available.
    If you define a sword as secondary weapon, the unit will not be able to use bayonet, they will fight with sword instead, even if bayonet is available.

    Thank you so much, I was editing this exact same file but I wasn't changing the secondary weapon.
