I've got two big reasons for really stepping up my workout plan to something not only more intense but hopefully new and different to me. Firstly, mine right now is boring and not too intense at all and is really probably not helping me much. On top of that I might try getting into fire academy next year and I am going to need to be in much better shape than I am now. Granted I am in okay shape now, but my cardio and overall endurance just really needs work.
Thankfully I have a cousin who is a personal trainer and actually won bodybuilding USA fitness competition (or something like that), so she will be a good resource for me too, but I haven't been able to talk to her about it yet so I figure I can at least start here. Anyone have ideas for an interesting cardio workout? Just something new is what I am looking for, love my bike rides and morning runs from time to time but it gets old. I am wanting to focus on good conditioning overall but any good upper body workouts I can do with little to no equipment would be good to.
