Hello everyone, PMTW2.0 seems would never release, I'm now doing some improvement on PMTW 1.5 and plan to release somekind of 'unoffical patch'. But I still want to make a contact with cegorach and ask if he can send me some 2.0 files...

anyone else having trouble with this mod? I have steam version of medieval total war and the mod installs fine and works but everytime on turn 3 it crashes. always that same turn. i tried different factions and same . what gives? any ideas? I tried all the CTD fixes (button files) and altering my resolutions. nothing works for me. Im using Win 7.
I tried Redux mod, it works fine and original medieival works fine as well and I can play without crashing. only pike and musket gives me crash

Sadly, no. It is me rather than Cegorach doing these for PMTW. Cegorach is not active anymore since 2010, and he doesn't reply my e-mail I sent to him a few days ago.

I got it to work! as long as I dont install the MP map pack, the game works for some reason. but i have two issue:
1. Dead bodies. I want to see dead bodies. How can i make dead bodies show?
2. I used the old army pieces but still the army stacks are always showing "full" and are completely filled in. Why is this?
3. right clicking a princess to check her portrait crashes the game.

Yes, if you want to play campaing, do not install the MP pack.
1, sorry, PmTW have no dead bodies, and I don't plan to add them in my unoffcial patch.
2, this is not a bug and not relate to OMP, this is because in PMTw, the number of soilders in an army is often very large, usually more than 100, and the MTW engine only allow 960 men in one army stack.
3, I know what cause this bug but I never meet it in PMTW, pleae tell me which faction's princess she is?

Always full stacks in P&M is a side affect of incorrectly editing campaign army pieces. It's a bit tricky because you have to stay in indexed color mode at all time or you loose the banner filling effect. The other problem is hardcoded troop limit for one stack - 960 men. It works well with standard 60 men units (60 x 16 panel slots = 960) but it's a little inconvenient for bigger units. IMHO, it's not that bad because it's close to 1000 so you can easily estimate the size of enemy army by counting full stacks and multiplying by 1000.

Great to see someone working on this old warhorse. I hope that other modders are kind and support your efforts Claymore. Cegorach laid a great basis with 1.5 but never got round to polishing as he intended.
