Campaigns. Expanded map regions, and emergent factions.

Think about it: Roman invasion of Britain- you just massive expand the British portion of the campaign map and give it far more regions. Maybe a few unique factions that are unlockable in the vanilla grand campaign as a bonus for buying.

Unit DLCs are basically admissions that the base game roster was lacklustre and that these new units supposed add new flavour while actually adding nothing because you mostly use the old units anyways.

Really guys, no point. It's covered on the main campaign anyway. You want something after 100 AD, like perhaps the III century crisis with Aurelian, Justinian coming later, BI II, or Muslim invasions. I would rarer have them than something you get on the Imperial Campaign anyway.

And I'm sure it will be. I'm talking about an in-depth mini campaign, like the Penninsular campaign for Napolean.

What's the point? Same units, same factions. Same plot. I want a whole new range of factions and units, as depicted in later expansions like the ones I suggested.

I don't want DLCs that just add another faction, or a bunch of units (the community can offer that for FREE DAMN IT !!!!!!)

I would like to see DLCs that actually modify the games mechanics. Take a look at Paradox's Crusader Kings 2; their DLCs make you design your own ruler (rather crappy one, but still adds a whole new thing to the game); play as Muslim nations, and with the new one coming out, you can build your own standing armies, make your own "cults" (cant think of the right word right now), and some other stuff I forget.

Actually when thinking about it further, i would maybe buy faction dlc to if they are well executed and not something that should have been in the game to begin with.

I want a Heros pack to have Generals that are famous.Or maybe a dlc that allows people to edit units themselves easily.

I am still waiting for a castle DLC for S2. Having a unique castle for each region in S2 would be awesome.
The equivalent in Rome 2 would probably be to have more cities fleshed out as detailed as Carthago appears to be.

    Besides that:
YES: Old-school expansion like DLCs ofc
NO: Those laughable FOTS faction packs with a different unit color and some tweaked stats for $5US each, lol.

I think a nice gladiatorial arena addition with fights for the champion of Rome.
Competitions could be held in arena,s throughout the provinces to reach the final championship.

Of course more campaign addons would be nice

I hope we see some worthwhile additions offered by CA.

I'm okay with DLC's really, as long as modding tools are included. They don't have to be mutually exclusive.
Look not above, there is no answer there; Pray not, for no one listens to your prayer; Near is as near to God as any Far, And Here is just the same deceit as There.

And do you think that unto such as you; A maggot-minded, starved, fanatic crew: God gave the secret, and denied it me?-- Well, well, what matters it! Believe that, too.

No DLC is ever acceptable to me. Unless they are free, I openly oppose all the DLCs, and this whole DLC system.

I'd just like to be able to buy an expansion pack in the traditional way, on a DVD disc like what in my view all games should be. I have a severe dislike for buying digital copies of anything and prefer physical media instead.

Expansions, as in a new campaign map with new factions.
    Only this kind. No other.

The free kind. The 0.00$ kind. The non-charge kind.
