    Default Victoria II Minecraft Based Mod

    I was thinking of making a mod for Victoria 2 based off of the pvp server and all its politics and wars. Factions would be countries, and they would be based as close as possible to the areas that they occupy in the server. The governments of each country would also be based as close as possible to how they are run on the server.

    This task, however, is quite large. So before I begin I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for events, new government types other than what is in the vanilla game, etc. Any ideas or questions are appreciated.

    I was also wondering if I should make it based off the 1.3 version, which is what Steam downloads by default, or the 1.4 beta patch, which usually runs with more stability than 1.3, but will need to be downloaded and installed separately by anyone wanting to use the mod.

    Things I will need to know or have:
    -A map of the north; currently the south is well-mapped but I have no idea of the locations of northern factions.
    -Each faction's banner or flag.
    -Each faction's type of government and how it is run.
    -Each faction's color that represents them best, both a name for it and if possible the number format (i.e. 255 255 255)
    -The general locations of smaller less active/inactive factions; I could make one province countries for them.
    -Maybe a list of any factions anyone can remember from the old server that collapsed, such as the Imperium and Vroengarde.
    -Anything else people think I should add.

    I will post a map of what the starting areas would likely be. I'm using Central Europe for the general location since we don't need factions all over the world.

    With the colours reversed. Red on the bottom left diagonal and black on the top right diagonal.

    Direct Democracy, everyone having 1 vote on all matters, no one with any authority to act outwith a vote.

    Red. CGA number (is that what you want?) is 12. Hex number is #FF0000.

    All factions around us are on the map already, that I'm aware of. You could just throw in old factions as smaller countries to fill in the gaps.

    -Maybe a list of any factions anyone can remember from the old server that collapsed, such as the Imperium and Vroengarde.

    I'm curious as to how you'll decide who is/is not industrialised, and who to rank as the 8 Great Powers, or will you reduce that in size to only 3 Great Powers, for example?

    Byzantium is Purple, a Republic, and is not industrialized.
    Some old factions:
    Legion, Vroengarde, Federation, Etat de Lor, Golden Horde, Goblins, and Templars.

    As to whether or not all of these will be in the mod, probably not. I'm going to start with all the currently active factions, then work towards the old factions. If I do get the factions from the old server made, they will likely have cores in certain provinces and would be able to form through either releasing nations or rebellions, but they won't be playable from the start.
    Or I could make more than one start date.

    As to the second question, I assume you're asking if the map itself can be altered to resemble our Minecraft world. The answer is probably yes, however, editing the actual provinces and map textures goes beyond my ability to mod Victoria 2. So I must use the the real world map, and I chose central Europe due it having a high number of provinces compared to the other areas of the map.

    Of the old ones, I'd say Vroengarde, Palamaine, Arnor, Etat, Monks, Legion,Ostia, Blades, and Stalkers are worthy of inclusion.

    remember that the union and upper canada are different factions. We are a representitave democracy with an elected parliament and an army that consists of a core of regulars and a horde of militia.

    I helped meki a week ago giving him some if not most of the info in the recruitment threads
    Some factions just dont have any known flags, that hasnt helped meki a lot
